Don't forget to check out the Challenge page where we started the month with a mythical $1200 bankroll and attempt to increase that amount as the Saratoga season continues.

Yesterday

1-10. Well, that was frustrating. Lone winner in R8 [$5.20]. But - check it out - seven of our top picks ran second! Ouch! Gimmicks using the selections actually offered some fun on a scratch-reduced, off the turf afternoon: R1 BACD [x 5.60 no tri]. R5 BA [ex $14.60]. R6 CA [x 29.80]. R7 DAC [x 51.50 t 189.50]. R8 A-Cd [x 24.00]. R9 CAB [x 29.00 t 147.00].

31,561 attended - although the number is inflated by 'spinners' chasing the pilsner galls giveaway. There was an early morning rainstorm - about 9am. Turf racing was moved to the main track. The sun poked through off and on during the afternoon - with some humidity. And there was a brief rain shower about mid-card.

Today

Family Mondays – a weekly attraction held every Monday from noon to 4pm inside the Saratoga Pavilion. The weekly event features a variety of free family-friendly activities for all ages.

Also the first ever live-money tournament - experience the thrill of tournament play for just $40. Sign-up will be on the first floor of the grandstand.

Heavy overnight rain mean off the turf again on Monday.

Classic Aussie.

Bedouin Now.

If we are interested in both halves of an entry -- in event of a scratch -- it is noted that way [in other words, both halves are named]. If only one-half of the entry is named, then we prefer that half and will move to our next pick listed [rather than the other half of the entry] in event of a scratch.
