Yesterday

4-10. Winners in R3 [6.90], R5 [7.50], R6 [10.80] and R8 [4.90]. Also, R1 ... CADB x 26.40 t 57.00 s 122.50; R2 ... EFx x 111.00; R3 ... AEC x 57.50 t 193.50; R4 ... Cd-Bc-A "B" scr x 8.50 t 17.40; R5 ... ACDB x 32.60 t 81.00 x 159.00; R6 ... Ab-Bc-x x 36.80; R8 ... ACB x 11.40 t 28.40; R9 ... DACB x 21.60 t 49.80 x 128.00.

28,108 attended. Mostly sunny and comfortable - although there was a brief sprinkle that moved through late in the afternoon - accompanied by threatening clouds. But the actual precip was minor - not enough to make anyone scramble for cover - and the remainder of the day, and night, was nice.

Today

H Allen Jerkens Day: NYRA will pay special tribute to the man known reverently by the racetrack community as 'The Chief' during a day in honor of the late Hall of Fame trainer. The day will include a named race in honor of Jerkens, as well as video tributes throughout the afternoon. Concession stands will offer a special 10 percent discount throughout the day on Coors Light, which was a favorite beverage of Jerkens.

FIRST RACE
Pletcher entry...Both Donegal Moon and Patrick's Day have perhaps some precocious breeding - and Pletcher in their camp. Assume with Castellano onboard only one will go.
Show Bound... Asmussen trainee not only has experience - but good stakes experience as well.
Metal Magic...Another that has beneficial experience.
Sallisaw.

SECOND RACE
Adirondack Dancer...Solid recent numbers - including a good second here last time.
Branded Hand...In from Ky for Ramsey/Sharp.
Bam Bam...Just behind the top pick last time.
Where's Danny.

THIRD RACE
Professor Zoom...Rolling the dice with this guy of a dismal debut. Goes turf-to-dirt. Moves from MSW to mdn clmr. Castellano rides. Worked 10.0 before 2YO sale.
Iron in the Fire...Experience counts - particularly in a field that doesn't muster much excitement.
Silverado Star...Another moving MSW to mdn clmr. Worked 10.0 before sale.
Dalmore.

FOURTH RACE - G2 $200K Adirondack
Tonasah...Impressive in debut.
Delicate Lady...Private purchase after Arlington score in first try.
Just Wicked...Improved in second start and looks to fit here.
Decked Out.

FIFTH RACE
English Minister...Seem like a very good fit on the number.
Brickyard Kitten..Dangerous on the stretchout.
Xaverian...Was going well when last seen.
All Tied Up.

SIXTH RACE
Super Surprise... Dam produced a first-out sib, Symbol of Support. Pletcher trains.
Young Anna Lee...Worked 10.1 prior to sale and first two starts have been OK.
Boomerang Becky...Worked 10.3 prior to auction.
Here Comes Rosie.

SEVENTH RACE
Puppy Manners... Seems logical with the class relief.
Blue Pigeon...Just missed in a somewhat similar event last time.
Escapist...Back to turf.
The Pulse.

EIGHTH RACE
Slim Shadey...On the numbers.
Candir...Solid on turf.
Hollywood Idol...The one to catch.
Boot Scootn Daddy.

NINTH RACE
Kirov...Lone dirt try was good enough.
Elraxc azy...Just missed, but with an improved number last time.
Top Decile...Showed promise last year. Draw a line through the Jan race and expect a rebound based on the bullet work.
Touch the Moon.

TENTH RACE - G2 $500K Fourstardave Hcp
King Kreesa...In super form right now.
Mshawish...Good this behind the super-talented Solow in Dubai. Layoff is the concern but dangerous if ready.
Seek Again...Won this race last year.
Jack Milton.

ELEVENTH RACE
Deficit Hawk...On the move from NY-bred alw to open clmr.
Who's Z Daddy...Perhaps the one to beat.
Aleander...Absolutely fits.
Indiana Stones.

If we are interested in both halves of an entry -- in event of a scratch -- it is noted that way [in other words, both halves are named]. If only one-half of the entry is named, then we prefer that half and will move to our next pick listed [rather than the other half of the entry] in event of a scratch.
