2-10. Winners in R7 [6.70] and R9 [6.40]. Also, R3 ... BAC x 26.20 t 98.00; R5 .. DBAE x 31.80 t 152.50 s 558.00.

But sheesh - mostly took it on the chin yesterday - ran 1-3 in four exactas. A while we hit the late P4 out of our own wallet with an A-C-A-B selection sequence - we lost $12 on the bet [$60.25/$.50].

25,756 attended. Yep - another nice day - sunny and comfortable.

Ground Force...Off the layoff but could be best if ready.
Jacobson entry...Slan Abhaile preferred. Should fit here for Jacobson.
Rockford...Third best on numbers.

Diannecantretire...Worked 10.0 prior to 2YO sale.Now moves MSW to mdn clmr.
Benny's Compass... AE list. In from PID and also moving down from MSW company.
Steve's Philly...Worked 10.2 before auction.

THIRD RACE
In Haste...Steep drop second off claim for Jacobson.
Midnight Champagne...Trainer shooting an oh-fer at the meet - but shold snap out of it and this one should fit here on the drop.
Heaven's Touch...The two wins were with numbers that will take this, but other tries were less inspiring. Hmm...

FOURTH RACE
Tiz a Chance... Debut was good - but eligible to return improved.
True Rate...Last couple put him in the thick of this.
Wicked Freud...Very solid debut effort.
Frisky Magician.

FIFTH RACE
Summer Sault... Stuck perhaps in bridesmaid mode but we'll give her the nod with Castellano onboard.
Donatienne... Might have needed seasonal debut. Johnny V sticks. Sib Trinniberg won career debut - and was a graded stakes winner - albeit on dirt.
Jcs Shooting Star...Nice improved number on turf.

SIXTH RACE
Wealth to Me... Hmmm... We'll bite. Won nicely here on the questionable drop for Jacobson. Claimed and moves up slightly so... But, capable if able to repeat.
Jacobson entry... This Hard Land is preferred. Drops off the claim.
Mr Palmer...Solid claiming trainer.
Frost Jordan.

SEVENTH RACE
Ramble...Should appreciate return to claiming ranks.
Jewelisa...Fits with these on the numbers.
Willow U... Improving numbers.
Swoop.

EIGHTH RACE
Conquest Superstep... Good third in turf try on the move east might have her primed.
Prize Taker...Improving and just missed in latest.
Building Permit... Potent team behind this one will warrant attention.

NINTH RACE - G2 $300K Lake Placid
Miss Temple City... OK fourth in Royal Ascot try. Back stateside and grabs the weakest of nods in a skullbuster of a race.
Heath...Might be the pace.
Strict Compliance...Better than the latest - although the fourth-place wasn't bad.
Sentiero Italia.

TENTH RACE
Weather Girl...Nice improvement in second start and might fit well with this particular bunch.
Sauvignon...Improving.
J'rays Sunshine...Sib General Jack was second in debut then won the next - which was a stake.
Esther the Queen.
