Yesterday

Dark day. No racing.

Today

Veterans Day: Free grandstand admission for all United States active duty military and veterans with military ID. Veterans of World War II will be recognized in the winner's circle following the day's second race. Additionally, the New York Racing Association will pay tribute to its veteran and active duty employees with a special ceremony in the winner's circle during the National Anthem at approximately 12:28 p.m.

FIRST RACE
Commissioner...Nicely bred runner from Pletcher was a decent second to a runaway 4-5 shot winner in debut. Trainer good second-time out.
Bold Visionary...Another one that was a good second in debut - this one was behind an Asmussen second-time starter.
Souper Lucky...Behind Bold Visionary last time. Might appreciate the stretchout.
Lieutenant Seany O.

SECOND RACE
Miss Da Point...Going back to the nice win three back when in similar company. Searching for something in a competitive race.
Revealing Moment...OK second on the comeback last time. Seems a solid fit at this level.
Talent N Passion...Repeat of latest is good enough here - but moves up the claiming ranks.
Yampa River.

THIRD RACE
Rosie's Song...OK second last time - now drops in for a tag.
Scienziato...Not in love with this gal - but start two back when moved to this level was OK and perhaps the blinkers will help. Just aren't a lot of solid alternatives in here.
Prize Taker...Well behind the top choice last time - but tossed an OK effort three back and is another moving in for a tag.
Glassy Aly.
Jupiter Moon.

FOURTH RACE - $100K My Flag
Toasting...Might be a good fit here after having faced some heavyweights in the division over the last two.
Flash Forward...Good second in a similar stake last time [condition there was less restrictive "not won a stake in 2013" - but this field seems tougher].
Sister Slate...Just behind the top pick in the G1 Mother Goose - followed up with a win here on 7/31.
Profetiza.

FIFTH RACE
Bluegrass Flash...Sib to the talented Discreet Marq - that one was 6th in debut, won next start, at SAR in 2012. Just won the G1 DMR Oaks.
Rewrite History...Really like Big Brown as a win-early sire. Dam's first foal to race.
Mohican Chief...Trainer and sire are win-early but only sib to race wnet 5-0-0-0.
Tapidor.

SIXTH RACE
Sleek...Has some precociousness via trainer and sire - dam's offspring not necessarily win-early.
Canal Six...Debut was promising.
Cryptic Comet...Also comes off of a debut effort that looks like one to build on.
Miss Narcissist.
Selenite.

SEVENTH RACE
Caribean Beat...Seems in good form now.
English Rhythm...Also going well over last few.
Win for Kitten...Significant drop two starts after claim.
Holiday's Jewel.
Sabouli.

EIGHTH RACE - $100K PG Johnson
Candy Kitty...Improved on turf and around two turns. Might take them all the way again.
Granny Mc's Kitten...Sib Kittens Dumplings won debut - and was second in a stake next out. Hmm.
La Reine Bourbon...Solid in debut.
Miss Frost.

NINTH RACE
Sneaky Kitten...Drops slightly off of a good try here on 8/5.
Tycoon cat...In good form.
Gimme Credit...10YO comes on off of a claim - and a victory here on 8/3.
Alarmed Ndangerous.

TENTH RACE
Indian Red...Firster from Pletcher. Sib Happy Harvey took four to win - but got the victory when stretched to two turns.
Present Course...Drops off the claim for potent Ramsey/Maker team.
Lasso...First off the claim for savvy claiming connections.
Mr William.

If we are interested in both halves of an entry -- in event of a scratch -- it is noted that way [in other words, both halves are named]. If only one-half of the entry is named, then we prefer that half and will move to our next pick listed [rather than the other half of the entry] in event of a scratch.
