Yesterday

2-14. Winners in R2 [4.50] and R7 [7.00]. Gimmicks: R2 ... ABD x 47.00 t 41.20; R7.. ACB x 27.20 t 129.00; R8 ... CBx x 100.50; R9 ... BCA x 40.00 t 82.50; R13 ... BAx x 22.40.

47597 attended. Weather - perfect. Sunny and comfortable. The crowd was big - but the facility seemed to handle it well. Lines at concessions and mutuel windows seemed to be manageable and moved well.

Post-race watering holes Siro's and The Horseshoe had large crowds after the races - and downtown Caroline Street was hopping well into the wee hours of the morning.

Today

Ceremony to Honor Ramon Dominguez: NYRA will name the day’s fourth race at Saratoga in honor of three-time Eclipse Award Outstanding Jockey winner Ramon Dominguez, who announced his retirement in June following injuries sustained in an accident at Aqueduct Racetrack in January 2013. A special ceremony, including a video tribute, will take place in the winner's circle following the fourth race at approximately 2:30pm.

FIRST RACE
Callana... Speed could be potent here.
Quay...Seems to be heading to a big effort.
Atlantic Dream...Typically in the hunt.
Dynaverse.
Treasured.

SECOND RACE
Darley entry... Gratiture - Sire can produce win-early types. Trainer is currently hot. Dam was very good - but hasn't produced much. Fingers Crossed also has potential - but is on AE list.
Potosi's Silver...Trainer and sire win-early. Sib Jehan took seven to win but was 7-1-3-2.
Gracer...PRX debut showed potential.
Mei Ling.

THIRD RACE
Knockher Off...Improving numbers before going to the bench. Bullet - best of 65 - in prep for this.
Acigarisjustacigar...Might be the best of the rest.
Irish Etiquette...Numbers fit here.
Solengo.

FOURTH RACE
Radiohead...Second off the claim for Jacobson/Drawing Away. Goes turf-to-dirt and drops off of an OK effort last time.
Non Stop...Has some back numbers.
Shankopotamus...Speed might prove dangerous.
St Liams Halo.

FIFTH RACE
Nonnie Connie...Could be finding some class relief. Turf-to-dirt. Quick turnaround.
Seven Dreams...Class relief.
Kaitlyns Cat...Might be returning to comfort-zone class-wise.
Lisalisalee.

SIXTH RACE - $100K Idle Rich
Atigun...Trouble in latest - rebound likely.
Imagining...Capable on best.
Eagle Poise...Might prove dangerous if in good form off of the layoff.
Sky Blazer.

SEVENTH RACE
What the Frost...Should benefit from the education at this level last time. Key race?
Agilion...Also comes out of the interesting 7/21 contest.
Madame Prosecutor...Perhaps needed the last off of the layoff.
Gee Linz.

EIGHTH RACE
Crown Queen...$1.6mil purchase. Sib to... Royal Delta [a debut winner]. Sib Empire Way was a debut winner in 2011. Meanwhile - sib Carnival Court was 6th in debut - but won next two.
Gondole...Has some precociousness with trainer and sire.
Domino Derval.
Sabbatical.

NINTH RACE
Film Shot...Long time since the last win - but typically is in the hunt.
Sachem Spirit...Just behind top pick last time.
Gentleman's Kitten...Better than latest effort.
Kris Royal.

TENTH RACE - G1 $600K Personal Ensign Hcp
Royal Delta...She's not invincible - but she seems that way when she runs to her potential.
Authenticity...Solid in prep stakes win here at the beginning of the meet.
On Fire Baby...Improved as a 4YO.

ELEVENTH RACE
Neat Package...Sheppard runner probably has to step it up off the maiden win here - but is lightly-raced and should have that potential. AE list.
Kitten's Queen...Well-spotted runner from the Ramsey juggernaut.
Enchanting Lisa...Another lightly-raced filly with potential.
Justonatheguys.
Abbey Street.

If we are interested in both halves of an entry -- in event of a scratch -- it is noted that way [in other words, both halves are named]. If only one-half of the entry is named, then we prefer that half and will move to our next pick listed [rather than the other half of the entry] in event of a scratch.
