Today

TV ALERT: NBC, Sat 4:30-6pm ET. Travers and undercard stakes.

FIRST RACE
Colony Strike... Capable on best effort - but this is a tepid vote in a wide-open event.
Bradester...Had this one as a potentislly intriguing player on the Derby Trail earlier this year. Off since January however and faces older today.
Tiree...Dropping in for a tag.
Socialsaul.
Cozzetti.
Power World.

SECOND RACE
Celebrated Talent...Trainer seems to be on a roll over the last few days.
Tiz Chris...High-priced purchase at at 2YO sale in 2012 for potent connections. OK debut last November behind the talented Normandy Invasion. Dangerous.
Datt Melody...Some breeding punch and the trainer can have them ready.
Scam.

THIRD RACE
Sartorius...Sib to the very talented Art Fan. That one took three to get first win. Full sib Romans Reward also took three to win. This guy debuted in a stake for Sheppard and could prove interesting stretching out off of that education.
Proof of Concept...Connections can get it done with 2YO firsters.
Bobby's Kitten...Good debut for potent connections.
Lulu Le Mon. Stroll to Victory.

FOURTH RACE
Be Bullish...First off the claim for very potent claiming connections.
Marriedtothemusic...High speed.
Dr Figawi...Might appreciate return to dirt.
Crafty Dreamer.

FIFTH RACE
Noosh's Tale...Doesn't inspire great confidence - but capable on best effort.
Hidden Vow...Live numbers over the last two.
Toy Cannon...Consistent numbers recently - and they should fit here.
Sunlover.

SIXTH RACE
Hudson Miracle...Chad Brown runner could be primed.
Birchwood Road...Ran well last time in second off the layoff.
Grahamandwithers...Also seems in good form off of the latest.
Irish Jade.

SEVENTH RACE
Adirondack Dancer...In good form this year and the triple-digit Beyer two back is hard to ignore.
Wildcatter...Another that would be dangerous if able to duplicate the effort from two back.
Wild Billum...Fifth - but close-up in latest.
One Golden Road.
Bluegrass Springs.
Happy Fella.

EIGHTH RACE
Pick of the Litter...Should be finding some class relief here.
Rapscallion...Improving Beyers. Broke maiden last time in front-running fashion. Might still have upside.
Frac Daddy...Another finding class relief - after a string of G1s. Turf is the question mark.
Cantonic.

NINTH RACE - G1 $500K Test
My Happy Face... Very interesting on the cutback off of the second to pro-tem divisional leader Princess of Sylmar in the G1 CCA Oaks.
Sweet Lulu/..In from SoCal for a class test - but could be this good.
Wildcat Lily...Hasn't missed the exacta in last seven.
Lighthouse Bay.

TENTH RACE - G2 $250K Ballston Spa
Hungry Island...Another contentious race on the card - and a slight nod here on best effort.
Centre Court...Alos capable on best - but needs to improve off of latest.
Laughing...In good form now and comes of a G1 win here earlier in the meet.
Miz Ida.

ELEVENTH RACE - G1 $500K King's Bishop
Forty Tales...Three-race win-streak including a G2 sprint win here on 7/28.
Let Em Shine...Plenty of early foot.
Declan's Warrior...Fizzled last time but certainly capable and brings in a bullet work.
No Distinction.

TWELFTH RACE - G1 $1mil Travers
Palace Malice... G1 Belmont win seems to indicate the distance is no problem. And G2 Jim Dandy victory solidifies an affinity for the track.
Verrazano...One career defeat was in the quirky G1 Ky Derby. Big Beyer G1 Haskell win makes him dangerous.
Will Take Charge...Inconsistent but interesting if able to string two together.
Orb.
Transparent.

THIRTEENTH RACE
Slamarama...In for a tag for Pletcher and cuts back to as turf sprint.
Smiling Bob...Improving numbers.
Risk Management...Drops off the claim.
Holy Endeavor.

FOURTEENTH RACE
As Well...Third start off layoff - nice improvement over first two.
Chrissy Girl...AE list. Will be rolling late.
Sophie's Turn...Could be primed for a good effort.
Discreet Malena.
You So Smart.

If we are interested in both halves of an entry -- in event of a scratch -- it is noted that way [in other words, both halves are named]. If only one-half of the entry is named, then we prefer that half and will move to our next pick listed [rather than the other half of the entry] in event of a scratch.
