2-10. Winners in the 5th - on a DQ [3.20] and 8th [5.80]. Plus a few gimmicks using the picks - R2 ... BADC x 13.60 no tri, super - only four ran; R5 ... ADBC "D" 1st DQ'd to 2nd x 23.40 t 62.00 s 184.50; R7 ... CBx x 49.40; R9 ... BAx x 30.00.

Attendance was 16858. Weather: Partly sunny and warm.

Wednesday evening featured the annual renew of the jockeys vs horsemen charity basketball game -- benefitting the Race Track Chaplaincy. Final score 46-39 in favor of the horsemen's team which included Todd Pletcher, Elliot Walden, Rick Schosberg, Mark Hennig, coach Kiaran McLaughlin and more. Jeremiah Englehart is a player! And apprentice jock Manuel Franco has some game! He was joined by Rajiv Maragh, John Velazquez, Joe Rocco, the Ortiz brothers and more. A good time was had by all.


Today

International Day: The New York Racing Association, Inc. will celebrate cultures around the world during the inaugural International Day. The first-time, day-long celebration of global culture and heritage will feature traditional music, dance, entertainment, crafts and food from countries and regions around the world. Countries and regions represented include Armenia, China, Greece, India, Ireland, Italy, Latin America, Poland, Taiwan and Ukraine.
