Yesterday

2-9. Winners in the 3rd [$5.70] and 8th [$3.00]. Also, C-B in R2 for the exacta [$26.40/$2]. Otherwise, admittedly, it was kind of a struggle on Friday.

14,961 attended the twilight card. Weather continues - sunny and warm.

Today

Final Stretch Music Festival: After the conclusion of the day's races, fans can make their way downtown for the first night of the two-day Final Stretch Music Festival. Numerous bands will provide free musical entertainment at familiar downtown locations on both Saturday and Sunday evenings. Music will fill the streets of downtown Saratoga from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. with a mix of jazz, blues, acoustic, funk, pop and hip-hop.

RACE ONE
Glamour N Glory...AE. Just-missed in a similar race last time. Dominguez sticks. Gaining something of a bridesmaid reputation however.
Inny Minnie...Off since a couple of good tries at FG - on dirt. Has run OK on turf. But were those last two just horse-for-course - or is she improved. We'll know more today.
Scenario Analysis...Seems to be on the improve.
Off Limits.
Channel Lady.

RACE TWO
Winter Now...Drops for Pletcher/Repole.
Reserve Currency...Clearly a contender on best effort.
Knock Rock...Seems improved over the last three.
Truman's Commander.
Not Today.

RACE THREE
Flying Pegasus...Good fit this level.
Starforaday...Repole/Levine runner drops looking for a wake-up.
Coffee Boy...First off th claim for Ramsey/Maker.
King Rock.

RACE FOUR
Battle Bridge...Rolling the dice a little that there is some improvement in this gal with two starts under her belt. Dominguez sticks. Dam's first foal.
Flower Mart...Similar to top pick: Looking for improvement with experience. Ran an OK fifth in field of ten in debut.
Cerce Cay...Beyers improving with every start. Second back from a layoff today.
Lily the Pink.
Conquesta.

RACE FIVE
Hillswick...Likes this track and has a good win here early in the season. Repeat wouldn't be a surprise.
Simba's Story...Last looks like an aberration. Rebound possible off of the short layoff.
Repole entry...Seniors Pride could run away with this if able to first best shot off the bench.
Sam Sparkle.

RACE SIX
A Boy Named Em...Just missed in a similar race last time.
Devoted Wildcat...Probably a good fit at this level and gets a chance on a dry track today.
Willy Pay...Drops slightly and also should fit here.
Flying Masster.

RACE SEVEN
Micromanage...Pletcher/Repole 2YO. Sib to Indescribable - that one not necessarily precocious but became a graded sakes winner.
Favor Factor...AE. Some win-early nature and nuture.
Gulfport...Nicely bred and a solid debut at CD - could better this rating.
Pass the Pico.
Apex.
El Duro.

RACE EIGHT G2 $250K Baruch Hcp
Data Link...Has won half of his lifetime starts- including a G2 at MTH last time.
Guys Reward...Faltered last time - but prior starts were good enough.
Dominus...Dangerous if he takes to the turf.
Prince Will I Am.

RACE NINE G1 $500K Forego
Shackleford...Hard to know what to do here. Toss the last and he's clearly the one to beat - but did that latest indicate a negative horse-for-course. I'll give him one more chance.
Emcee...Lightly-raced but clearly talented 4YO.
Jackson Bend...Won this race convincingly last year. Needs to rebound to that prior top form.
Pacific Ocean.

RACE TEN G1 $750K Woodward
Much Macho Man...Can sit a nice stalking position and pounce.
To Honor and Serve...Clunked a little behind the top pick last time but clearly capable on best.
Cease...Also needs a top effort - but certainly likes this track.
Stay Thirsty.

RACE ELEVEN
Neatie the Cat...Solid in debut. Why not right back?
Next Question...Better than latest.
Countknickerbocker...Last two turf sprints were OK.
Western Tryst.

RECE TWELVE
Madame Johar...Would seem to have a slight edge on the numbers.
Katie Malone...Also looks to have an edge on many in here.
Bunhead...Will be rolling late.
Mela Dramatically.
Muhmmara.

If we are interested in both halves of an entry -- in event of a scratch -- it is noted that way [in other words, both halves are named]. If only one-half of the entry is named, then we prefer that half and will move to our next pick listed [rather than the other half of the entry] in event of a scratch.
