Today

NBC SportsNet covers the Alabama and Sword Dancer, 5pm ET.

FIRST RACE
Master Splash...Moves from state-bred alw to open clm.
Leroidessioux...Last was best yet - BUT it was an off-turfer.
Redemption Road...Nice win breaking maiden when dropped to this price. Should fit with these.
Shane Roars.

SECOND RACE
Lemon Drop Dream...Near-miss in debut. Asmussen runners tend to improve in second start. This one had a sib - Denomination (eventual stakes winner) - that won second career start in France, after running second in debut.
More Hundred Acres...Repole/Pletcher firster was an expensive yearling buy. Sib Eden Star took eight to win but was second in first two - including a G2 stake at 25-1.
Leveraged Loan...Klaravich 2YO - but with Mott training might not be cranked for first try.
Warship.

THIRD RACE
Bandits Heart...Has some precocious breeding top and bottom. "Fresh face" in this bunch.
Five Card Draw...Has shown a little bit of life and takes an additional drop.
Seghesio...Last was best yet - but at F'Lakes.
Karakorum Holiday.

FOURTH RACE
Violence...Expensive yearling purchase from Pletcher. Has a sib Laertes that was a debut winner, 7F turf at Woodbine about this time last year.
Demographic Trend...Might benefit from the experience so far.
Holden On...Another eligible to improve with one under his belt. Ran into a buzzsaw in debut.
Pagets.
Titletown Five.
Orb.
Bad Hombre.

FIFTH RACE
Post Pattern...Seemed on the improve prior to latest.
Nelson Avenue...Lead and caught in a similar race last time.
River Tune...Also showed speed last time - might last longer with that one under his belt.
Sonnyandpally.

SIXTH RACE
Yankee Kitten...Could be primed in second start of season and with the class drop.
See Me Proud...Hoping to get back to some earlier numbers and move back to turf might help.
Kathy's Kitten... Also Looking for a rebound to talent shown in first couple of starts.
Colonel Bill.

SEVENTH RACE
Shrewd One...Solid all season.
Hello Lover...Could be interesting on the cutback.
Que Posse...First time in for a tag since early in career.
Prince Silver.

EIGHTH RACE
Southpaw Slammer...Solid last two - particularly in turf debut.
Marquet Cat...Should be prominent throughout.
Strong Impact...Has speed and will have to use it from the rail.
Seven Lively Sins.

NINTH RACE G1 $600K Sword Dancer
Turbo Compressor...The distance is the question mark but speed is often dangerous at these types of trips.
Point of Entry...In good form and proven at the trip.
Al Khali...Third in this race last year.
Newsdad.

TENTH RACE g1 $600K Alabama
Grace Hall...Hit top form in latest.
Questing...Moved among top of the class with last two.
Via Villaggio...Behind top pick last time.
Zo Impressive.

ELEVENTH RACE
Ladywell Court...Has some closing punch.
Mary P Jones...While this one will play catch me if you can.
GA Empress...Better thank latest.
Schillerette.
Read the Signs.

If we are interested in both halves of an entry -- in event of a scratch -- it is noted that way [in other words, both halves are named]. If only one-half of the entry is named, then we prefer that half and will move to our next pick listed [rather than the other half of the entry] in event of a scratch.
