Yesterday

No racing. Dark day.

Today

Had a pretty good weekend, through Monday, re: winners on top - but, admittedly, find today's card quite difficult to pinpoint. We'll see...

FIRST RACE
Debonair Dancer...Clunked last time - but turf ebut was better than that. Additional drop today - although one-hole is no bonus at this trip.
Catalina Island...Went well with move to turf.
Vendor Financing...Needs to rebound to career debut effort.
City Vice.
Ms Tiptaptoe.
On dirt: Catalina Island, Catalonia, Ms Tiptaptoe, Leading Citizen, Ripley's Gold, Stay Composed.

SECOND RACE
Accent...Dropped to this level last time - but didn't get the preferred surface. Back to grass today.
Crypto Kitten...Certainly a contender - but has something of a bridesmaid profile.
Carpi Clements...Improved on grass.
Snookie Slew.
Billboard Hit.

THIRD RACE
Slash Five...Expensive 2YO sale purchase for Repole - last year. Worked 10.0 at that sale. 2011 debut wasn't bad. Might benefit from 2YO - 3YO layoff.
Rockin Boogie...Capable on best but hard to get too excited about an8-time loser.
Curve Ball...Hmmm, this guy is interesting. has some wi-early breeding and showed some talent in debut - but why did the original connections let him go for $20K?
Wild Target.

FOURTH RACE
Going Going Gone...Turf-to-dirt and class relief.
Thirty Minutes...Showed some life at this level.
Stone Maker...Also got a little bit of a wake-up when dropped to $20K.
Inquiring.

FIFTH RACE $100k Troy
Perfect Officer...Looks primed to run well today.
Bridgetown...Just behind top pick last time as the chalky fave. Likes this track.
Regally Ready...Last year's BC Turf Sprint winner needs to regain form after ill-fated Dubai trip.
Zeb.
On dirt: Saginaw, Crossbow, Freudian Dilemma, Wekiva Wachee, Zero Rate Policy, Artest.

SIXTH RACE
War Hoot...Has back numbers that are good enough here and could be set in third start back.
Boots Ahead...Moves in for a gtag off of some OK stakes tries.
Pocket Cowboys...Dropping off the claim for Repole/Pletcher. Dangerous.
Pleasant Run.
On dirt: Lubango, Settle for Medal, Pleasant Run, Writingonthewall, Cinnamon Beach, Boots Ahead.

SEVENTH RACE
Lady Rizzi...Linda Rice. Turf sprint. This one likes the track - including a win here last time in a similar event.
Eden Is Burning...Just caught by top pick last time.
Paraiba...And third in that same race.
Lisini.
On dirt: Karma Police, Fiftyfour Forever, Paper Plane, Double the Energy, We Need VLTs, Eden Is Burning.

EIGHTH RACE
Orange Tree...Nation's leading owner still seeking first win at this meet. Tossing the dice a little bit here in a wide-open race - looking at that 7/21 bullet for intent.
American Legend...Over-matched last time and back on dirt off of the big effort two back.
Crepuscolo...Lightly-raced and improving - could be the second claim on this card off of Gary and Mary West that they wind up regretting putting the 'for sale' sign on.
Crown the Chief.

NINTH RACE
Seeker...Hard to use with a lot of confidence - but does return to the scene of his best performance.
Gentlemen's Bet...Solid in debut win - but off since Jan.
Regal Strike...Seems in good form.
Saint of Saints.

TENTH RACE
Smart Farda...A tepid nod in yet another race on the card that offers a number of options. Has the breeding to be better than the record indicates. Drops and moves back to grass.
Lion Prince...Has speed and will have to use it from the rail.
Dual Mandate...Also has speed. Class relief as well.
Popplestone.
Dendrite.

If we are interested in both halves of an entry -- in event of a scratch -- it is noted that way [in other words, both halves are named]. If only one-half of the entry is named, then we prefer that half and will move to our next pick listed [rather than the other half of the entry] in event of a scratch.
