Here we go!

Today

The meet's first Family Fun Friday - a weekly event features a variety of free family-friendly activities for all ages.

Hats Off music fest. Musical acts line Saratoga's main street - keeping things hopping downtown from 7-11pm.

FIRST RACE
Voodoo Storm...Perhaps a little over-matched last time but was going well prior and should rebound to those efforts.
Salto...Another that finds the waters shallower than last time. Euro-import has been off since Nov but certain to compete off the layoff with these connections in his corner.
Yankee Fourtune...In good form and finding some class relief.
Writingonthewall.

SECOND RACE
Alwaysinmycirlce...Improved nicely with the move to grass - and had some trouble.
Jitney...Also stepped forward on turf.
Bourbonology...Seasonal debut was good. Adds blinkers today.
Mela Dramatically.

THIRD RACE
Oscar Party...His sibling Major Gain was second in his debut (and appears in an alw here tomorrow) and then won a G3 in the next start. With Dixie Union there's precociousness top and bottom - as well as a good win-early trainer.
Kimono...No question this one will takes lots of action with the owner/trainer/jock combo - and I might regret not using on top. But - this one had a sib that took 20 to break its maiden. While another sib was a winner in - uh, Serbia! So we'll take a little bit of a shot against.
Lignite...Experience counts and this one has been knocking at the door for trainer Ward. Faced the boys last time.

FOURTH RACE
Book Review...Beyers on the improve this season and could be primed in second start vs limited winners.
Ullapool...Comes in off of two solid wins.
Ode to Sami...Hits the exacta more often than not.
Abide.

FIFTH RACE
Lenderoflastresort...Always like firsters from this owner/trainer combo. Particularly when they come out of 2YO sales - and this one worked 21.0 prior to auction.
Kauai Kettle...Worked 10.0 before sale. Has win-early breeding and connections.
Garmentos Girl...Always like Indian Charlie runners first out of the box.
Kansas.

SIXTH RACE
Versailles Road...the one to beat if in from the AE list.
Unaccountable...First off the claim for winning connections and likes this track.
Best Actor...Lifetime best Beyer in the win last time.
Beckham Bend.
Red Leader.

SEVENTH RACE
Done in Love...We'll roll the dice a little in a competitive race. High-priced yearling makes a late debut but has some win-early nature and nurture at work.
Gloat...Expect improvement in second career start off of the long layoff. The bullet work on 7/10 might indicate some intent.
Lanett Lady...Trainer is good with these Euro-transplants.
Cosmic Energy.

EIGHTH RACE - James Marvin G3 $100K
Jackson Bend...Won this race convincingly last year.
Caixa Eletronica...One of the all-time best claims (claimed for $62.5K in March 2011). Solid graded-stakes performer for Repole/Pletcher.
Crossbow...Has speed and is capable on best effort.
Golddigger's Boy.

NINTH RACE - Schuylerville G3 $150K
So Many Ways...Impressed in debut.
Can't Explain...Won't be surprised to see Pletcher filly run well.
Baby J...Purchased out of monster debut effort. Will take plenty of action - but the others surely have some upside potential so we'll take a modest stand against this one.
Sweet Shirley Mae.
Brown Eyes Blue.

TENTH RACE
Way of the West...Working well for debut and bred to be precocious.
To Dubai...Lifetime best Beyer last time and might be a good fit with these.
Roheryn...Drops for MSW.
Top Position.
Destiny's Song.

If we are interested in both halves of an entry -- in event of a scratch -- it is noted that way [in other words, both halves are named]. If only one-half of the entry is named, then we prefer that half and will move to our next pick listed [rather than the other half of the entry] in event of a scratch.
