Yesterday

2-10. Winners in the 2nd [$5.80] and 8th [$4.10]. In the 2nd the third selection completed the exacta [$30.20/$2]. The fourth pick rounded out the tri in that race [$115.50]. Boxing up the top four grabbed the tri in the 3rd [D-A-C $177.50]. In the 6th second over third picks for the exacta [$41.80].

23,029 attended. There was a slight sprinkle around the mid-card point - but not enough to make anyone duck for cover. Most of the afternoon was overcast - but comfortable. The sun was shining by the end of the card.

Today

The G1 Alabama will be broadcast on NBC, 5pm ET.

FIRST RACE
Green Monster... Spent most of career facing open company in Florida. Only try vs NY-breds was on the grass and he might be better on the main.
Crea's Law...Been lightly-raced this season but could be set to move forward.
Beautyinthepulpit...Maiden-breaker was impressive.
Cribnote.

SECOND RACE
Royal Blessing...Kitten's Joy on top. Worked 10.2 before May sale. Working well.
Swag Daddy...Worked 10.3 before being sold for $170K. Didn't live up to those credentials in the debut however. But could improve with that experience under the belt.
Mississippi Duel...Also eligible to improve with one in the holster.
Rock Star Charlie.
Fox Rules.
Van Tassel.
On dirt: Same, plus Educator, Goose No Fruit.

THIRD RACE
Well Built...Just kind of fishing for something in a tough race. Could be primed off of the two turf sprints.
One Way to Rock...MSW to mdn clm'r.
Calico Mountain...Early speed last time could indicate rounding into good form.
Stonemill.

FOURTH RACE
Running Tap...Class relief. Adds blinkers. Dominguez back onboard.
Take a Walk...Back to dirt.
Fiji Star...Hasn't shown much since maiden-breaker - but drops to lowest level yet.
Local Legacy.
Raecinjasin.

FIFTH RACE
Short Shrift...Got close to wire-to-wire winner last time - but fracetions worked against him there. A more honest pace scenario will make him tough.
Jeanbaptiste Corot...Serious class relief.
Marine Officer...Was in the same race as top pick where any closing punch was nullified.
Cosmic King.
Smart Farming.
Medieval Sword.
Katy's Office Girl.
On dirt: Jeanbaptiste Corot, Equivocation, Worth a Buck, Out of the Ghetto, Virging on Stardom, Hurling.

SIXTH RACE
News Pending...Owners have won here with these 2YO sales buys in the past. This one worked 10.3 before May sale - worked 10.2 before buyback at March sale.
Grandpa Len...Worked 21.1 before sale. Had a first-out winner sib in Puerto Rico.
El Padrino...Pletcher firster.
Tritap.
Rightfully So.

SEVENTH RACE
Dodging...Been knocking at the door - which could be more negative than positive - but the one to beat on best effort.
Mosquito...Seems to have similar talent to top pick.
Shootmetothemoon...Firster from Malibu Moon.
Robin Hood USA.
The Laurels.
Tapaway.
On dirt: Robin Hood USA, Shootmetothemoon, Dahess, Orsonian, Big Herman, The Laurels.

EIGHTH RACE
Ancil...Just missed breaking maiden last time in a small stake at Colonial.
Saturday Classic...Debut effort looks like one to build on.
Daddy Nose Best...Edged Saturday Classic last time.
Fantastic Song.
Tiz a Homerun.
On dirt: Same, plus Politically Correct, My Adonis.

NINTH RACE
Le Reine Lionne...Just missed in a similar race last time.
Ainamaa...Could be interesting moving in for a tag.
Exclusive Love...Just behind top pick last time.
Silver La Belle.
Media Madness.

TENTH RACE - G1 $500K Alabama
Inglorious...Beat the boys convincingly in the first leg of the Canadian Triple Crown. Skipped last two legs to come here.
It's Tricky...Very talented 3YO filly has already won a G1 here this season.
Royal Delta...Might surprise with a race over the track.
Plum Pretty.

ELEVENTH RACE
Hear the Footsteps...Beyers give him the edge.
Westside Corral...Tossed a dud last time but expect a rebound here.
Guns and Religion...Has speed. Has some back numbers. Could prove formidable vs NY-breds.
East of Danzig.
Midnight Billy.
On dirt: Shrewd One, Royal Majesty, Guns and Religion, Iron Lou, Talk Therapy, Kutais, The Yank, Fight for VLTs.

If we are interested in both halves of an entry -- in event of a scratch -- it is noted that way [in other words, both halves are named]. If only one-half of the entry is named, then we prefer that half and will move to our next pick listed [rather than the other half of the entry] in event of a scratch.
