Yesterday

0-11. Wow. Embarrassing. An unprecedented oh-fer-the-weekend! Like Saturday it was a little bit furstrating with our second choice winning twice and our top pick running second in two other races. We did manage the same scenario in two races of second pick, over third, over fourth selection, over top pick for gimmicks [3rd, x $35.60/$2, tri $176.50, super $308.00; 9th x $25.20, tri $104.00].

21,650 attended. Hot and humid with some sun.

Today

Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Select Yearling Sales, 7pm... Down the street from the racetrack.

Just prior to posting - the NYRA website is saying all - except for R1 - are OFF THE TURF for today [double-check to verify].

Okay - let's see if we can get this runaway train righted!

FIRST RACE - Gleaming $75K
Prado Dash...Took awhile to break maiden but now has a two-race win-streak and could be interesting in this spot.
Seal Cove...Undefeated on turf Sky Blazer...Lightly-raced but showing signs of talent.
Canaveral.
Eternal Ruler.
On dirt: Preachintothedevil, Eltheeb, Seal Cove, Rocky World.

SECOND RACE
Saratoga Snacks...With Tale of the Cat on top he'll win sooner rather than later.
Bay Park Boy...Has some precocious breeding top and bottom and comes from the Pletcher/Velazquez juggernaut.
Serpe entry...The Prize Fighter preferred. Can build on the first-out foundation.
Panthro.

THIRD RACE
Next Page...Mr Greeley on top. The dam won her dbut. Still a maiden after three but eligible to wake-up with the move in for a tag.
Stinking Creek...Could try to steal it on the front end.
Mr Haywood...MSW to mdn clm'r.
Master John.

FOURTH RACE
Politically Correct...Win-early breeding and Wes Ward sending out a 2YO sprinter.
Benofear...Always like Malibu Moon on top of a debut runner.
Anonymous Donor...Pletcher/Velazquez.
Belvoir.
On dirt: Same.

FIFTH RACE
Empress of Gold... Six times a loser but Beyers peg her as the one to beat.
Queen of King St...Eligible to improve in second start.
File Gumbo...Another that could build on the first-start education.
Maria's Own.
Expresso Run.

SIXTH RACE
Sure Success...Interesting Belmont to Calder to Saratoga move. Should fit with this bunch.
Economic Swoon...Gets some class-relief and looks like the one to beat.
Dance Floor Maniac...Turf-to-dirt. Cutback in distance.
Baker entry.
Awesome Mich.

SEVENTH RACE
Smart Farming Noble Charlotte Alex's Buck Hey Hey Mama.
On dirt: Demure Halo, Backslash, Cautionary Tale, Keep It a Secret, Smart Farming, Alex's Buck.

EIGHTH RACE
Flying Sappho Myrtle's Gray Catchpenny K Eden Is Burging Lights Out Lisa
On dirt: Letshootpool, Eden Is Burning, Myrtle's Gray, Fiddlers Diva, Porkchop Sandra.

NINTH RACE
Radiohead...Check the PPs and one-turn on dirt might actually be his preferred game.
Day of Destiny...Fits if he brgins his "A" game.
Litigation Risk...Hmmm - off since Oct but freaked on this track last year.
The Program.
Lou Brissie.

TENTH RACE
Good Prospect Cristiano Cookram Rock Leadwithyourchin Premium Gold Red Leader.
On dirt: Fastus Cactus, Cure, Jimanator, Lil Os Expression, Red Leader.

If we are interested in both halves of an entry -- in event of a scratch -- it is noted that way [in other words, both halves are named]. If only one-half of the entry is named, then we prefer that half and will move to our next pick listed [rather than the other half of the entry] in event of a scratch.
