2-10. Winners in the 5th [$8.40] and 9th [$3.90].

25,155 attended on a sunny, hot and humid afternoon.

TV ALERT: Coaching Club American Oaks, NBC, 5pm ET

Deanallen'skitten... Looks like the light-bulb turned on. Two-race win-streak in tow.
Rockettes Escapade...Just missed in first try at the level.
My Perfect Light...Back to turf.

Whinston...Worked 10.1 before sale. Lost debut at 6-5 - but Asmussen godd with second-timers. Dam has produced first-out winners.
How Do I Win...Pletcher/Repole runner worked well for this.
Covert Ops...Smoke Glacken on top generates some interest.

Global Power...Overmatched moving MSW to stakes. Better fit here.
Saddleranch...Speedy in SoCal for Baffert.
Quality Council...Similar scenario to top pick.
Wall Dance.

Houston Harbor... Plenty of speed. HUGE drop gives class-edge, but raises red flags.
Jungle Rain...Also finding class relief.
Quiet Power...Quiet Power...Beyers put him in the hunt.

Self Control... Debut was a good foundation.
Unbridled Ocean...Some OK breeding and Pletcher on his side.
Simbamangu...Two good races - both behind next-out winners.
Gold Trader.

Clear Attempt...Solid on turf.
Quick Recovery...Another that improved on turf.
Tahoe Lake...Improved since returning from long layoff.
Rubber Duck.

Captains Cat...Sire certainly gets precocious runners - not so enthusiastic about the dam however.
Perfect Slam...Can improve off of debut.
R King of the Road.

Crypto Kitten...Breeding indicates win-early -- however, can't get overly excited about a 4YO firster.
Notell...Wouldn't be surprised to see a good effort today.
Bazinga...Bridesmaid since moving to turf.

Jimmy Simms...Stakes winner takes a little class drop in first start for Tony Dutrow.
Gathering Cloud...Should be rolling late.
Johannesburg Smile...Could prove interesting if sent early.

TENTH RACE - CCA Oaks G1 $250K
It's Tricky...G1 Acorn win was impressive. Choice in a tough race.
Royal Delta...One clunker and three wins - including the G2 Black-Eyed Susan.
Buster's Ready...Like top two she's coming out of a nice stakes win.

Pletcher entry...Last out of Panama debuted in a stake. Play it Smart attracts on breeding and connections.
Binks Forest...MSW to mdn clm'r.
Pure Home Brew...Might be interesting on turf.

If we are interested in both halves of an entry -- in event of a scratch -- it is noted that way [in other words, both halves are named]. If only one-half of the entry is named, then we prefer that half and will move to our next pick listed [rather than the other half of the entry] in event of a scratch.
