Today

Jockey charity softball game. 7pm East Side Recreation Park.

FIRST RACE
Insightful...Comes back for half the priced he was claimed for on 7/23 - which is a concern. But he should have an edge if all the wheels are on.
Belongs to Sheila...Some class relief. Turf-to-dirt. Cutback. Some things to like.
We Get It...Toss the turf experiment.
Rotten to the Core.

SECOND RACE
Corrao...The 'fresh face' and with Lion Heart on top he should be primed to win early.
Gerard Loves Beer...Taking a pretty steep drop from MSW company.
Scotchirish...Seemed to show some life last time so maybe the light bulb is turning on. Another drop and adds blinkers.
Hasten to be King.

THIRD RACE
Slaty Little Sis...Certainly not landing here with ultra-confidence - but it's hard to have confidence about any of them in here. First time starter has perhaps a little bit of interesting breeding and also sports a good work coming into this.
Sultrysilver...Wouldn't be shocked to see this one returned as an improved performer.
Turn That Paige...Showed good speed and faded in debut. That's the kind to build on.
Bandit Lady.

FOURTH RACE
In Just We Trust...Has run well twice at this meet and now gets another shot after a good second in a similar race last time.
Harmonizer...Also second in a similar race here. Dangerous.
Fastus Cactus...Could prove to be the one to catch.
Good Karma.

FIFTH RACE
Deanallen'skitten...Just missed in a similar race here on 8/15. Switches for the chilly Lezcano to Leparoux.
Cranberry Queen...Shopping for some class relief in here.
National Gallery...Another that could find this group to her liking class-wise.
SS Traverse.

SIXTH RACE
Ready's VisionHas the breeding to be ready to run.
Total Package...Another that's precociously-bred.
Inspired...Should benefit from the first-start education.
Avenging Spirit.
Saudi Prince.

SEVENTH RACE
Chantilly G...Linda Rice trainee shops for the winning level.
Clap Hands...Showed a little bit of life at this price last time.
Keith's Kitten...Another that went well at this level last time and the speed makes her dangerous again.
Tulane Up.

EIGHTH RACE
Strong Impact...Barn was a little snakebit on the win-end early but has come alive this week.
Mustang Island...Seems in good form now.
Karakorum Elektra/Chernobyl's Hero...Both are capable on best effort.
Mor Chances.

NINTH RACE
Masala...Third start back and nice improvement start #1 to start #2.
Glenwood Canyon...Can't fault the solid effort here on 8/4.
National Pride... Will contend if ready.
Flying Private.
Endymion.

TENTH RACE
We Need VLTs...Cleverly named Rice sprinter was solid in debut and will be heard from here if able to improve even slightly.
Aprilmayjune...Dropped to find a winning spot - but woke up when moved to the grass. So - the question is class today. Will she fit with these? A repeat of the latest says yes - but, we'll see...
Sextant... Barnmate of top pick is another with some class question marks - but also looked good last time.
Loyal Shadow.

If we are interested in both halves of an entry -- in event of a scratch -- it is noted that way [in other words, both halves are named]. If only one-half of the entry is named, then we prefer that half and will move to our next pick listed [rather than the other half of the entry] in event of a scratch.
