Don't forget to check out the Challenge page where we started the month with a mythical $1000 bankroll and attempt to increase that amount as the Saratoga season continues.

Yesterday

1-13. Winner in the 9th [$6.90]. In the 10th a C-D-A finish for the exacta [$63.00/$2] and tri [$237.50]. Wow - Travers Day with its extended card is typically pretty good to us, but this was a wipeout. One of those that just prompts us to 'turn the page'. We'll take some solace in the fact that we checked some of the other public handicappers and no one that we saw had a particularly big day.

45,764 attended and it was yet another fabulous day weather-wise. Sunny and comfortable. The joint was rockin' and the crowd moved on to the post-race watering holes where the party continued into the evening and then the fun rolled into the late night/early morning as the revelers shifted their action downtown.

Today

FIRST RACE
Devils Humor...Lived up to her super-breeding with a big debut win. Off since March but will be tough if ready.
Cinco de Mayo Mio...Showed some big improvement last time.
Zermatt...Has some early speed and last time went from MSW win to a small stake. Spotted better here.
Beautician.

SECOND RACE
Lady Vi...Bred to run well early.
Millie Money...Solid debut effort - but now moves into tougher MSW company.
Honeywantshermoney...More precocious breeding.
Ausable Chasm.

THIRD RACE
Shadow Trick/Take a Walk/Luxury Appeal...Owner Flying Zee typically does well in Saratoga with firsters.
Dream Drop Kid...Lemon Drop Kid on top makes him interesting.
Bound by Humor...The only one with experience - and both starts have been good.
Eminent Tale.

FOURTH RACE
Blushing Dixie...Drops in for a tag.
Aphrodite's Tears...Also moves in for a tag -- and won nicely when last seen in the claiming ranks.
Jazzy Moves...Has shown some life on turf.
Deputy's Citizen.

FIFTH RACE
Bank Heist...If the track is playing the way it was on Saturday this one might be tougher to reel in today.
De Price...Nice improvement start #1 to start #2.
Dominant Jeannes...Could come out running.
Bakhoor.

SIXTH RACE
Ticondero...First off the claim for Rodriguez.
Trippo...Should fit with this bunch.
Devonshire...Drops into the claiming ranks.
Tapit's Brew.
King Rock.

SEVENTH RACE
Henceforth...Solid when last seen for a tag.
Recharged...Linda Rice turf sprinter.
Scorper...Has a little bit of a closing kick.
It's the Big Cat.

EIGHTH RACE
Oatkadestinyschild...Moves into the Rodriguez barn.
Moneigh...Longtime loser has certainly shown some life on occasion.
Considerate...In the hunt more often than not.
Notell.

NINTH RACE
Leipzig...Used this Sheppard trainee on top on 8/7. Didn't get what we wanted that day - but we won't let him win without us today.
MissingLisaLewis...Been running well this year.
Mr Hot Stuff...Interesting California transplant ran well in east coast debut.
Raven Hawk.

TENTH RACE - Personal Ensign G1 $300K
Rachel Alexandra...She has looked good in the last two - but Life At Ten is tougher than those she faced in those races.
Life At Ten...Can't fault the 2010 record.
Miss Singhsix.

ELEVENTH RACE
Implied Odds...A good second in a similar race last time.
Empire State...Nice improvement last time.
Papaw Bodie...Nice closing kick in debut. Adds blinkers and takes a small drop.
Fu Pegs Baby.
The Cuff Shooter.
Dark Cove.

If we are interested in both halves of an entry -- in event of a scratch -- it is noted that way [in other words, both halves are named]. If only one-half of the entry is named, then we prefer that half and will move to our next pick listed [rather than the other half of the entry] in event of a scratch.
