Saratoga Race Course Friday, August 20, 2010 Total for the meet... $528.85

We start the 2010 Saratoga thoroughbred race meet with a mythical bankroll of $1000. Each day we'll use this space to record our mythical best bets and calculate the accumulated wins and losses.

Yesterday...

Pretty much snapshot of the meet so far... Early double, we win the first - then run first and second in the final leg. That also knocks us out of the early P4 -- where we win the next two legs and then just miss in R5 at 15-1. Maybe that was a blessing as we might have been inclined to knock our head against a wall if the 2-3 finish in the 2nd cost us a valuable P4. However - if our top pick Eighth Avenue had gotten up to win the 5th the $32.00 win would have taken some more of the sting out of our plays for the day. Oh well - turn the page...
