Yesterday

Dark day. No racing.

Today

FIRST RACE
Driven by Energy...We could throw a dart and have as much confidence in this race - but we'll land here. The comeback race wasn't much but this guy might have a class-edge amongst this bunch.
Money's Sweet...Just missed in a similar race a couple of weeks ago.
Bea Bet...Drops and goes first-out for a trainer that sizzles with newcomers to his barn.
Annie's Melody.

SECOND RACE
Spa City Lover...A decent second here at 7-5 in the career debut. Iffy prospect on the class rise - but there's not much in the way of strong alternatives.
Lady Maureen...Second in two starts and - unlike the top pick - both have been at this level.
There Goes Molly...The sire produces precocious youngsters - but that's not a strength of the trainer.
Fortheloveof Anna.

THIRD RACE
Stanford Dolly...As consistent as they come. Locally-based owner has made the SoCal-to-NY transfer successfully in the past - including a winner here last week.
Conga Bella...Dutrow trainee just nipped at this level three back.
Flask...Turf-to-dirt. And that Beyer two back really stands out. A repeat of that effort makes her dangerous.
Gross Pointe Anne.

FOURTH RACE
Intercoastal...In a race that seems mostly - but not completely - devoid of early speed, we'll hope this one can clear the field early and hold on late. The class drop might help.
El Real Madrid...Has fired some big numbers in the past and could be ready to pop in this third start of the summer.
Dantastic...Hasn't won in a long time and often seems to have trouble at the break - but capable on best effort.
Doctor Cal.
One Starry Nite.

FIFTH RACE
Quebrada Shiner...Looks well-spotted in third start of 2010.
Diamond Dina...Back at winning level and could complete a Dutrow-family exacta.
Elle a Gent...Has some early speed and could prove dangerous first time for a tag.
Atrea.

SIXTH RACE
Backslider...Like today's opener this one is a head-scratcher. A tepid vote here hoping he received some education in the debut and appreciates the class-relief today.
Crescent Moon Dr...Found this level to his liking last time.
Classroom Legend...Decent effort last time off of a layoff.
Liberal.

SEVENTH RACE
Pico Dinero...Has been getting closer with class-relief through first three - including a just-miss effort when dropped to this level in latest.
King Prada...Longtime maiden has been in the hunt the last few.
Highlight...With the breeding and the weak field we were tempted to put this one on top - but, because of the breeding, the $25K tag first-time out raises a serious red flag.
Naughty You.
Raymond.

EIGHTH RACE - Troy $70K
Silver Timber...Has been in top form in all four starts this year.
Hold the Salt...OK try in a salty turf sprint stake at Penn Nat last time.
Yield Bogey...He could prove interesting but late-kick style might leave him with too much to do.
Awakino Cat.

NINTH RACE
Nacho Corona...Good try in a similar race early in the meet.
Rigby...A wake-up with the drop in for a tag wouldn't be a shock.
Aspire to Silver...Plenty of early foot.
Macho Joe.

If we are interested in both halves of an entry -- in event of a scratch -- it is noted that way [in other words, both halves are named]. If only one-half of the entry is named, then we prefer that half and will move to our next pick listed [rather than the other half of the entry] in event of a scratch.
