Today

Free ballcap with paid admission while supplies last.

FIRST RACE
Double Eagle...Been very competitive since the move to turf.
Versailles Road...Another that has shown an affinity for grass.
Peahi...Has a nice closing kick.
Short Shrift.

SECOND RACE
Read the Contract... We like these firsters coming out of 2YO sales from the Klaravich/Violette connections. This one worked a blazing 9.4 before the sale.
Hysterical Cat...Pletcher/Velazquez debut runner has a little bit of precocious breeding.
Cooper River...Win-early breeding and trainer.
Sailmate.

THIRD RACE
Rock America...Mott runner has shown some life and eligible to really wake-up with the drop in for a tag.
RJ Hope...Should be heard from in the lane.
Too Big to Fail...Another making the potent MSW to mdn clm'r move.
Pierre Lapin.
Enchanted Circle.

FOURTH RACE
Time Counts...Has some win-early breeding and Asmussen is a win-early trainer - often getting them to run better in their second try.
Miss Smarty Pants...Bred to be god early and working well.
Sassy Strike...Similar scenario with connection and breeding that say this one will win sooner rather than later.
Summer Laugh.

FIFTH RACE
R Boy Bill...In a little bit of a puzzle of a race we'll go with a trainer who gets them ready for these 2YO sprints. Likely to have benefitted from the first-race education.
Perregaux...With Distorted Humor on top this one will be well-meant early.
Voodoo Storm...Another with a top win-early sire.
Mish Mosh.

SIXTH RACE
Circleboundbay...AE list. Won a the MSW level last time - should fit very well with this bunch.
Holy Moment...Won a somewhat similar race last time.
Kaleigh Rose...Usually in the hunt.
Tutti Va Bene.
Solari Island.

SEVENTH RACE
Silk Route...Juddmonte/Mott runner has looked good in first two and will fit here if able to repeat those efforts.
Senada...Will be rolling late.
Vee...Another with some closing punch.
La Cloche.

EIGHTH RACE - Honorable Miss G2 $150K
Warbling...A tepid nod in what looks like a race filled with many horses who can win on their best effort - which one will give that? Hmm, we'll hope it's this gal.
Secret Gypsy...Last was a corker -- two or three before, not so much.
Pretty Prolific...Has some closing kick and that might be useful here - but best races have been on off tracks.
Hour Glass.

NINTH RACE - AG Vanderbilt Hcp G1 $250K
Majesticperfection...Speed demon fired an amazing 117 Beyer last time. Gets tested in graded stakes company today.
Big Drama...Undefeated at the trip.
Bribon...7YO is a proven graded stakes winner.
Mambo Meister.
Gayego.

TENTH RACE
Hennessy Light...Top two in this event look kind of evenly matched but we'll tilt in this direction on the recency and trainer's going well at the meet overall.
Moonwalk Beauty...A repeat of the latest makes her the one to beat.
Rennina...AE list. Hasn't looked brilliant - but has been consistent and fired a nice work on 8/2.
Nice and Naughty.
Oatkadestinyschild.

If we are interested in both halves of an entry -- in event of a scratch -- it is noted that way [in other words, both halves are named]. If only one-half of the entry is named, then we prefer that half and will move to our next pick listed [rather than the other half of the entry] in event of a scratch.
