Aikenite...It's like this -- you either believe in the two logical choices - Super Saver and Lookin At Lucky - or you look just beyond them and can make a case for every other horse in the field. We'll roll the dice with this one -- a horse we've been following for awhile. Looked good in the stretch in the G3 Derby Trial and we'll hope that indicated he's coming into top form. But this race looks like kind of a crapshoot -- unless you are on the side of the two choices.
Lookin At Lucky...The G1 Ky Derby favorite had all kinds of trouble. While most in this field have no more than two wins, this guy has won six times in nine starts - including a near-miss in the G1 BC Juvie. It's just going to be interesting to see what he does if he manages a trouble-free trip. [It will also be interesting to see what happens if he and Dublin - with his former jock Gomez onboard - should manage to find themselves next to each other at some point!]
Super Saver...Could be rounding into peak form at the right time.
