We start the 2009 Saratoga thoroughbred race meet with a mythical bankroll of $1000. Each day we'll use this space to record our mythical best bets and calculate the accumulated wins and losses.

We've been cashing tickets most every day -- now we just have to make some magic happen with those tickets! Unfortunately -- today's not the day to swing for the fences -- we really don't have anything jumping off of the page at us. But we'll see what we can make happen with a few smaller plays.
