Yesterday

2-10. We're going to need a breakout day somewhere over this holiday weekend if we are to reach the century-mark. Came into Thursday needing to win about three-a-day and couldn't quite squeak it out. Two winners on top [4th, $4.40; 6th, $9.60]. Top two flip-flopped for the exacta in the 1st [$16.20/$2]. Our third selection completed the tri there [$55.00]. Top pick over third selection in the 6th for a nice $52.50 exacta.

Yet one more nice day as we march towards the close of the meet. Comfortable and sunny again. 14,210 enjoyed the afternoon.

Today

Twilight racing. Post time is 2:45pm ET.

FIRST RACE
Titan of Industry...Near-miss last time -- first for a tag. Claimed and now moves up a bit but still looks to fit with these.
No More Green...Ran well in first turf try.
Crimson Comic...Might wake-up with the move into the claiming ranks.
Deputyville.

SECOND RACE
Mesa Sunrise...Worked a snappy 21.2 before attracting a big price at auction in February. Might benefit from debut effort.
Master...Another that is eligible to show improvement in second start.
Summit Creek...Firsters by Smoke Glacken are always interesting.
Jess Not Jesse.

THIRD RACE
Cocoa Beach...Impressed enough winning the UAE Oaks that they tried her against the boys in the UAE Derby where she ran a respectable third. Off since, but she might overcome the layoff on talent. Not invincible however.
Runway Rosie...Toss out her two most recent graded stakes tries and she's going well this year. Should fit with this bunch.
Over Under...Like Rosie this one was over-matched vs Ginger Punch but was going well prior.
Highest Class.

FOURTH RACE
Trix in the City...Breeding is still something of a question mark as far as precociousness -- but worked in 21.2 before the $300K purchase and trainer is good with firsters.
Kays and Jays...Went a blazing 10.0 prior to March sale. Debut effort was one to build on.
Just Living a Dream...We expect some improvement this afternoon.
Striking Dancer.

FIFTH RACE
Paramedic/Doughdaddy...Paramedic could be interesting on the drop. Doughdaddy is bred to come out running.
Early Response...Just missed in a similar event last time.
Natty Meboy...Horses coming out of that last race have done well. Interesting...
Mr Petersson.

SIXTH RACE
Close Encounter...Solid string of works for debut.
Smokin Hero...Bridesmaid in all three starts, adds blinkers today.
Clever Martini...Precocious breeding and steady works. Tagg is having a good meet.
Pegasus Tommy D.

SEVENTH RACE - With Anticipation $80K
Skipadate...Impressed in career debut. We'll know more after this race but he could be any kind.
Double Domino...Also sports a 1-for-1 record and has unknown upside.
Bittel Road...And more of the same.
Herr Mozart.

EIGHTH RACE
Extreme Supreme...Ran well here on 8/13 off a 4-month break. Might improve today.
Shone...Two Churchill starts this year were good -- then flopped here. Capable -- but iffy.
Greeley's Legacy...Coming off of a couple of clunkers -- but was going well prior to those. Will contend if able to rebound.
Sam P.

NINTH RACE
Into the Wind...Looks to be on the improve and should fit with these.
Big Jerome...Going well right now and was second at this level two back.
Dancing Tin Man...AE lister. Will be rolling late if able to get into the gate.
Forever My Friend.
Austin Laviva Baby.
Evade.
Stormy Mirage.

If we are interested in both halves of an entry -- in event of a scratch -- it is noted that way [in other words, both halves are named]. If only one-half of the entry is named, then we prefer that half and will move to our next pick listed [rather than the other half of the entry] in event of a scratch.
