We start the 2008 Saratoga thoroughbred race meet with a mythical bankroll of $1000. Each day we'll use this space to record our mythical best bets and calculate the accumulated wins and losses.

Well, we had some excitement for awhile. Our modest $24 P6 play was alive after four. Obviously a win there would have moved the Bankroll well into postive territory -- but even the conso would have moved us into good standing. But it wasn't meant to be -- we couldn't get either of our last two home...
