Yesterday

No racing. Dark day.

Today

FIRST RACE
CT Phone Home...Off a long time but drops for the comeback and trainer good with turf sprints.
Skipping Class/Smartgabrielle...Skipping Class preferred. Sharp in turf debut and should appreciate the cutback.
Donna's Sandee...Seems to have figured it out over the last few.
Jocassee.
Odetta One.
On dirt: CT Phone Home, Last Boat Home, Demaliat, Skipping Class/Smartgabrielle.

SECOND RACE
Mesa Sunrise...Worked in 21.2 before being purchased for $800K at auction earlier this year. Could come out running.
Celestial Diamond...Purchased for $700K at same auction as top pick. Worked there in 10.2.
Laver...Should benefit from having a run under his belt.
Pop Artist.

THIRD RACE
Ravel...Record indicates he might prefer this return to real dirt.
Fearless Vision...Has yet to miss the board and comebacker was impressive. Prado onboard.
Temporary Saint...Stepping out of graded stakes company for this.
Extreme Supreme.

FOURTH RACE
Dynaslew/Total Joy...Both halves have some solid breeding for turf and precociousness.
Platinum Girl/River Fancy...Trainer is good with firsters going two turns on grass.
Americas Dreaming...Just missed in Irish debut. Would be no surprise here.
Jehan.
On dirt: Jehan, Ain't Love Grand, Silver Reunion, Platinum Girl/River Fancy, Dynaslew/Total Joy.

FIFTH RACE
Power Express...Some Ok breeding and the work on 6/24 was promising. Slight edge in a field where no one really stands out.
Gossip Gil...Could wake-up with the drop into a claimer.
Peace Baby Peace...Breeding has a little bit of promise.
Matty Mae.

SIXTH RACE
Real Quality...Won convincingly at this level two back.
Casey's Joy...Layoff is a concern -- but perhaps that will be mitigated by the class relief.
Bon Marie...Typically gets a sniff at this level.
Certain Circles.
On dirt: Bill Place, Mr Madison, Casey's Joy, King Rush, Role Play.

SEVENTH RACE
Speed Dating...Steady works. Trainer can have them ready.
Sarah Accomplished/Anjorie...Dutrow can fire first time out of the box.
Gem for Hook...Hook and Ladder's always dangerous in debut.
Stormy's Smile.

EIGHTH RACE
Diamond Isle...Should benefit from the debut -- and the cutback in distance today.
Premium Wine...Clearly the one to beat off of the good stakes tries.
Out of Gwedda...Should go well in first start of the year.
Starforaday.

NINTH RACE - Adirondack G2
Simplify...Big win and debut and should have gained valuable experience in the follow-up.
Garden District...Beat top pick last time. Very dangerous from Pletcher.
Bold Union...Undefeated -- and unchallenged so far.
Doremifasollatido.

TENTH RACE
Castle Harbour...Just missed in first try on turf.
Winloc's Saint Ray...Showed solid improvement since the move to grass.
Marra Marra..."Fresh face" in a field filled with many multi-losers.
Cops Fever.
On dirt: El Tamberito, Little Wise Guy, Cops Fever, Pegasian, Castle Harbour.

If we are interested in both halves of an entry -- in event of a scratch -- it is noted that way [in other words, both halves are named]. If only one-half of the entry is named, then we prefer that half and will move to our next pick listed [rather than the other half of the entry] in event of a scratch.
