Yesterday

Dark day. No racing.

Today

FIRST RACE
Sheppard entry...Lead Us Not has been running well on the flat. Has done well in two jump tries. Sparkled comes out of a decent effort in a small jump stake at Philly.
Voss entry...Both halves look capable on best effort.
Dark Equation...Been solid since moved to the jumps.
Irish embassy.

SECOND RACE
Exotic Story...In what appears to be a wide-open MSW event we'll give a tepid nod here. Cost $225K as a yearling. Seems well-bred. Working well. Connections like to win-early.
Artytheonemanparty...Sold at 2YO sale where he worked in 22.1 and 21.3. Trainer does well with firsters at this meet.
J Be K...Baffert/Zayat runner is likely the one to beat. Brought a hefty sum at a 2YO sale after working in 10.1. Solid string of works for this. Must overcome outside post.
Fierce Wind.

THIRD RACE
Daytime Promise...Looked a little dull through the past three starts. Was going well prior and might wake-up with some minor class relief in here.
Smart Bunny...Been very good in three starts so far and might have a future ahead of her. The one to beat.
Hot Property...Toss the turf try and she's very competitive.
Crumbs of Comfort.

FOURTH RACE
Nullify...Pletcher having an un-Pletcher-like season -- but he's been very good with debuting turfers at this meet in the past.
Adriano...Good looking debut.
Big Al... Just behind Adriano last time.
Celestial Comet.

FIFTH RACE
Wishing Wishes...Promising debut was followed by a dud and then plenty of time off. Now moves from NY-bred alw into cond clm'r and could prove tough if able to re-capture form shown in that first start.
Behrdine...Another that might find some class relief moving into a cond clm'r.
Mulligatawny...And still another that should appreciate this level. Has some early foot.
Find the Chestnut.

SIXTH RACE
Going Day...Euro-import has two improving starts under her belt since arriving stateside.
Prom Party...Always seems to be in the mix.
Kin to the Wind...Nice closing effort in a similar event here on 8/6.
Crystal Minuet.

SEVENTH RACE
Moon's Halo...Could be cycling back to the form that produced that big win at Gulfstream in March.
Bound Notebook...Second to the very talented Chatain here earlier this month.
Dashboard Drummer...This is a legit stake-level performer and might just be better than these if able to find his best effort.
He's a Pioneer.

EIGHTH RACE - Perfect Sting
Amansara...Hard-knocker is always in the hunt and she seems to like this track.
Hopes and Dreams...Likely to be rolling late.
Mo Cuishle...Should be tough with that first turf start under her belt.
Criminologist.

NINTH RACE
What time Is It...Clearly they though highly of this one last year -- starting her career in two stakes. Off since October but expect the trainer will have her ready to go.
Cierico...Well-bred to be set for a good effort early.
Dowell House...4YO with only one start -- clearly there have been problems -- but her debut last year was OK. She'll be tough if she's primed for comeback.
Miss Barrister.

If we are interested in both halves of an entry -- in event of a scratch -- it is noted that way [in other words, both halve are named]. If only one-half of the entry is named, then we prefer that half and will move to our next pick listed [rather than the other half of the entry] in event of a scratch.
