Yesterday

No racing. Dark day.

Today

FIRST RACE
Highly Spoken...Trainer showed some promise early in the meet but has gone a little cold. However this one moves from NY-bred alw company which is often a solid move.
Eddie C...Moves from straight alw intro conditional claimer -- so there's probably a slight class edge, but has been off for well over a year.
Half a Note...Claimed earlier in the meet and has a nice work in prep for this.
Lets Get Going.
On dirt: Half a Note, Pleasant fiction, Noble Duty/Secretfairways, Titanium Menace, Gone Prospecting, Lets Get Going.

SECOND RACE
Stormy Blessing...Daughter of the very potent first-out sire makes debut for Darley.
Syriana's Song...Solid in debut and trainer is good with second-time starters as well.
Smokin' Stephanie...Interesting. Owned by celebrity chef Bobby Flay and trained by Todd Pletcher. This one was purchased earlier this year out of a 2YO sale in California. Worked in 10.2 and 21.3 in prep for that auction. Clearly eligible to come out running.
Little Miss Julien.

THIRD RACE
Argentina...Just-miss behind My Typhoon in G1 Diana.
Omeya...Augustin/Sheppard runner needs to step it up but hot jock might make the difference.
Wingspan...Euro-import looked good winning first US start.
Tejida.
Sprightly.

FOURTH RACE
Gullible Gal...Let's look for some improvement with that first-start education under her belt.
Desafinado...Pletcher trainee is also eligible to move forward in her second start.
Staid...Just missed graduating in last.
Valentina's Grace.

FIFTH RACE
Kats Golden Ways...AE lister. Showed an affinity for this track winning last in her best effort yet.
Follow My Dream...Another that tossed in her best yet winning last and might be in career form now.
Higher Incentive...Should be rolling late.
Fairytale Story.
Visual Candy.
On dirt: Nehantic Kat, Love Cove, Fiddlers Pleasure, Shoot the Bugler.

SIXTH RACE
Stormy Miracle...Sire is good with firsters. Trainer is very good with firsters.
Vesper...Stakes-winning dam has produced winners. This one was bought at 2YO sale just about three months ago after working in 22.4.
Georgie's Lady...Trainer can have them ready.
Cherokee Time/Wild Logic.

SEVENTH RACE = Capades
Smart and Fancy...Solid sprinter overall -- but has looked good since switching to turf.
Truly Blushed...Solid turf sprinter which is a specialized task.
Jazzy...A little bit of an unknown coming out of South Africa -- but his US debut hints at real talent.
Lemon Drop Gal.
On dirt: Smart and Fancy, Pennyrile, Taletobetold, Andrea's Pic.

EIGHTH RACE - Albany Hcp
Chief's Lake...Very consistent NY-bred stakes performer is going for the Big Apple Triple bonus.
Stunt Man...Might be interesting with the turf-to-dirt move.
Dr V's Magic...Tossed in a little bit of a clunker at F'Lakes but loses the blinkers and get Desormeaux back.
Doctor Freud.

NINTH RACE
The Ag...The debut was solid and then she tossed in a couple of duds. But we think this half-sis to the very talented J'ray is better than that. Perhaps the blinkers will make the difference and we'll give her another chance -- particularly against this sorry bunch.
One in a Romp...Just missed in a dirt sprint only nine days ago. Went well on grass in race prior. The one to beat.
Dance for Fashion...Looks like she benefitted from the short early summer break.
La Gioia Ditutti.

If we are interested in both halves of an entry -- in event of a scratch -- it is noted that way [in other words, both halve are named]. If only one-half of the entry is named, then we prefer that half and will move to our next pick listed [rather than the other half of the entry] in event of a scratch.
