Yesterday

1-9. We said we were in come-from-behind-mode after a slow first-half -- and this wasn't the start we hoped for. Bit, it was that kind of day. One winner on top and a few gimmicks using the selections, topped by the boxed tri using our top three in the 7th [$182.00/$2].

A nice opener to Week Four as 20,838 attended. And it was yet another gorgeous day weather-wise, sunny with temps in the upper 70's.

Today

FIRST RACE
Divine Fortune...Sheppard trainee has been solid in 2007 -- over the jumps and on the flat.
Dynaway...Usually in the hunt.
Super Fame...Might wake-up with the class drop.
Fantorini.

SECOND RACE
Make It Come True...Two turf tries were decent. Might have benefitted from the short time on the sidelines.
Runaway Star...Obviously prefers the grass.
Tizzy's Jazz...In contention and faded late when dropped to this level last time.
Take Care.

THIRD RACE
Cannonball...Tossed in a stinkeroo in debut -- but the trainer has eye-popping stats moving MSW to mdn clm'r and with second-time starters.
Let's Go Yankees...Nice string of bullets underneath.
Friendly Freud...Drops from MSW to make second career start.
Piquante Cat.

FOURTH RACE
Lady Rizzi...Had some trouble in 2007 debut. Expect better today. Trainer good in these turf sprints.
That's Good...Turf starts have been best yet. Likely to be sent from the rail.
Wicked Queen...Best effort contends in here.
Jetastik.

FIFTH RACE
Borrowing Base...Last race was best yet and a repeat should get it done here. Caveat however -- goes first-out after claim for trainer that is a little bit cool at the meet.
Papa's Kara...Looks like she turned the corner breaking maiden. Just missed in first try against winners.
Gattinara...Could be the lone speed in here which makes her dangerous.
Square Dancing.

SIXTH RACE
Overandabeauty...Half-sib to the very talented Tapit of a few years back. Three quarters of a mil as a yearling. Goes out for Zito.
Dattts Zoey Baby...Works seem to indicate she can roll.
Pletcher entry...Sunday Elegance preferred. Attracted $135K at 2YO sale just three months ago after working in 34.1
Miss Stonestreet.

SEVENTH RACE
Fort Carillon...Nice try two back indicates she fits here. Wide last time -- and that's a worry again today.
Gabriela's Rose...Toss the dirt try last time. Should be formidable with the drop in for a tag and returning to grass.
Pecunia...Think she's better than last.
Sax in the City.

EIGHTH RACE - Saratoga Special G2
The Roundhouse...Impressive debut at Monmouth. Followed-up with a nice third last time in G2 Sanford. Half-bro to Circular Quay should benefit from the experience.
Kodiak Kowboy...Hard to knock the record which already includes two stakes wins.
Sargeant Seattle...Impressed here with maiden victory on Opening Day.
Riley Tucker.

NINTH RACE
Buckeye Wonder...Tepid vote in a wide-open affair. Keying on those two races at Delaware last year with the 90+ Beyers. Will need to recapture that form but trainer is known to get them to step it up at the Spa.
Sabre Baby...Last tow were disappointing but he's clearly better than that. A rebound to earlier form puts him in the mix.
Minnamana...Four good mid-Atlantic tries so far in 2007.
Bon Marie.

If we are interested in both halves of an entry -- in event of a scratch -- it is noted that way [in other words, both halve are named]. If only one-half of the entry is named, then we prefer that half and will move to our next pick listed [rather than the other half of the entry] in event of a scratch.
