Belmont: NY BC Hcp G2 $250K

Noble Stella 9-2
Angara 5-2
Argentina 9-5*

Wager: $5 WP on Asi Siempre.
Ran 4th at 7-2.
...$2 exacta box top two.
Ran 3-4.
...$1 exacta box top four.
Collected $23.00 on the ex box ($46.00/$2).
...$1 tri box top four.
Collected $61.25 on the tri box ($122.50/$2).

Asi Siempre...Showed plenty of promise in her first three US starts last year. Needs the wake-up call as a 4YO but might get it today in her third start of the season and with the addition of blinkers.
Argentina...Second to the very talented Divine Proportions in last year's G1 French Oaks. Has yet to break-through on this side of the Atlantic -- but might prefer Belmont to the SoCal tracks.
Noble Stella...Talented -- but iffy for the top spot over the past couple of seasons.
Angara.

Monmouth: Salvator Mile Hcp G3 $150K

Flower Alley 1-2*
Park Avenue Ball 5-1
Network 8-1

Wager: $10 exacta Flower Alley over Cherokee's Boy.
Ran 1/5.
...$4 exacta Flower Alley over Park Avenue Ball.
Collected $21.20 on the ex box ($10.60/$2).

Flower Alley...Looks like a good spot to make seasonal debut for 2005 Travers winner and BC Classic runner-up.
Cherokee's Boy...Could be very tough to reel in if able to sneak away -- but likely to be challenged early by Park Avenue Ball.
Park Avenue Ball...Likes this track and ran well to win prep for this.

Colonial Downs: All Along BC G3 $200K

Film Maker 8-5
Latice 6-1
Art Fan 20-1

Ran 5th at 8-5*.
...$4 exacta box top two.
Ran 1-5.
...$2 tri key Wend over next three.
Ran 5/1-3-6.

Wend...Got the season off to a nice start with two wins and then had a little trouble on the Ky Derby undercard. Look for a rebound.
Film Maker... Millionaire has an impressive 19 in-the-money finishes in 23 lifetime starts. Only concern with this classy mare is the layoff but she won in her first start of 2005 off of a long break.
Joint Aspiration...Makes third start of 2006 and seems to be an improved 4YO.
Art Fan.

Colonial Downs: Colonial Turf Cup $1 mil

Go Between...Mott turfer has tow wins and two near-misses this season. Expect a big effort off of the short break.
Outperformance...Improving and looked good taking a G3 stake last time out.
Showing Up...Clearly talented but unproven at the trip or on the grass.
Roman Dynasty.
