Yesterday

No racing. Dark day.

Today

The Fasig-Tipton yearling sales continue tonight. The public can attend and view the proceedings in the glass enclosed auditorium -- or enjoy the atmosphere in the backyard. Sale starts at 7:30pm.

FIRST RACE
Mama Theresa...Has some improving figures and if she's able to repeat of improve it should be enough against this bunch.
Texas Breeze...Lightly raced. Has shown some talent -- but conditional claimers isn't Pletcher's game.
Kip Kelly...She looks sneaky-dangerous form 'The Chief'.
For What Its Worth.

SECOND RACE
Rajjaas...Sire gets some precocious runners and connections like to win early.
Reaffirm...Another good first-out sire and more win-early connections.
Righteous...Popped a nice work last month.
Giveityourbestshot.

THIRD RACE
Old Forester...Mott turfer was rounding into good form this spring. Expect him to be ready off of the brief layoff.
Sabre Baby...Should appreciate the return to turf.
Pletcher entry...Tiganello preferred. Should fit well with this bunch. Willard Straight needs to return to 2005 form.
Quest Star.

FOURTH RACE
Fling in Deauville...Low percentage trainer is a little scary -- but most of the rest in here aren't much better. Beyers say he fits on top and 7/24 work looks like he's on his toes.
Raff and Tumble...Lightly raced and looks to be improving.
Smoke Diamond...Got some good experience in this condition last time.
Boysik.

FIFTH RACE
Sweet Ransom...Breeding says she should like the surface. 6/1 work says she has the speed.
Jordans Lane...Pretty solid string of works for the debut.
Gilded Arrow...Breeding, connections, and Johnny V onboard are enough to find this one interesting.
Saint Pegasus.
Nootka Island.

SIXTH RACE
Marco's Tale...Some serious red flags here as this one was running well against much better earlier this year and then threw in a real dud for $40K last time. Now drops to $20K. Hmmm. Tough if all the wheels are still on. We'll know more today.
Dr Doright...Couple of good races so far and picked up last time by a good first-after the claim trainer.
Florida Thunder...Looks like the one to catch.
No Called Strikes.

SEVENTH RACE
Karakorum Knockout...Trouble in the last two -- but that 7/3 effort showed some promise.
No Rizpect...Interesting -- shot a bullet on the turf in prep for this dirt race.
Token Bay...Some decent breeding and the 7/17 work was OK.
Keuka Maid.

EIGHTH RACE
Silver Timber...Seems to have found a home on the grass and looks capable of being the first repeat winner at the meet.
Payment in Kind...Typically in the hunt -- but the distance might be a tad short.
Trippi Appeal...Should contend if he takes to the grass.
Wedding Singer.
Apollo Jones.

NINTH RACE - De La Rose $70K
Bright Abundance...Nice, improving numbers this year. Should be ready to run a good one.
Asi Siempre...Been knocking around graded company and actually might be dangerous here on the class relief.
My Lordship...Just missed in this race last year and is capable of taking it all on her best.
Stormina.

TENTH RACE
Strikeuptheblues...Can't quite seem to get the job done but has shown some life lately.
Elder Skatesmen...Will be rolling late.
Highland Pine...Trying to take them all the way might be a good tactic in a field mostly devoid of early speed.
Path of Perfection.

If we are interested in both halves of an entry -- in event of a scratch -- it is noted that way [in other words, both halve are named]. If only one-half of the entry is named, then we prefer that half and will move to our next pick listed [rather than the other half of the entry] in event of a scratch.
