Only two stakes offered on Saturday and we were right there but close wasn't enough to move us into positive territory. We had three of the top four in both races but couldn't pick up a winning triple. And the 1-3 finish in Louisiana kept us out of the exacta mix there. We were live in the lane but dead under the wire. But we live to fight on another day...

A solid effort with the Best Bets. We had only five plays after two turf races in Louisiana were moved to the main track and thus knocked off of our playlist. Two winners on top for a 64% ROI. It could have been even better but King Cassia was caught right on the line.

Primetime Princess...Showed marked improvement in her third career start and might be set-up for a good try stretching out off of a couple of nice sprints. Question mark is turf -- but breeding says she should handle it OK.
Survicat...Improved nicely in each of first four lifetime starts and took to turf -- but the dud last time is a concern, as is the low percentage jock.
Prospect of Love...A little inconsistent but capable on best effort.

Culinary...Really took to this surface when turfer was moved to main track just last week. Looks capable of repeat in a relatively weak stakes field.
La Reason...Third start off the layoff and was facing better last time -- and most of the year. Dangerous.
Private Gift...Will be tough if able to repeat last -- when she beat the top pick -- but she can throw in a clunker with no warning.
