Belmont, Race 8, Sweet Symphony... 9th at 7-1.
Belmont, Race 9, Bago... 4th at 9-2.
Belmont, Race 9, WPS on Forty Niners Son... 9th at 10-1.
Belmont, Race 10, Borrego... 10th at 5-2.

Belmont: Sports Page Hcp G3 $250K

Gotaghostofachance 5-1
Captain Squire 3-1
Wild Tale 20-1

Wager: $5 WP on Joey P.
Ran 7th at 5-1.
...$2 exacta top two.
Ran 4-7.
...$1 exacta box top four.
Ran 2-4-5-7.
...$1 tri box top four.
Ran 2-4-5-7.

Joey P...Unlike the connections of Lost in the Fog, the folks directing this guy's career couldn't resist the attempt to stretch him out. He's sprint-meant and set up well for this coming out of a state-bred stake win at Monmouth.
Silver Wagon...Sat out most of the summer and then had trouble in two G1 starts. Could be set for a good one in third start off layoff -- of able to get a clean break.
Captain Squire...Two wins since the long layoff and last was a super-gritty performance. But the trip is a question mark.
Value Plus.

Belmont: Discovery Hcp G3 $250K

Magna Graduate 5-1
Scrappy T 8-5
Buzzards Bay 8-1

Wager: $5 WP on Scrappy T.
Collected $8.50 on the WP (xxx, 3.40).
...$2 exacta top two.
Collected $34.20 on the ex box ($34.20/$2).
...$1 exacta box top four.
Collected $17.10 on the ex box.
...$1 tri box top four.
Ran 1-2-5-6.

Scrappy T...Looked good in comeback and should be able to sit close to the early pace and get first jump in the lane.
Magna Graduate...Has done well in three starts since moving to Pletcher barn, topped by stakes win last time.
War Front...3-3 since moving under the tutelage of Allen Jerkens.
Watchmon.

Belmont: BC Juv Fillies G1 $1 mil

Folklore 2-1
Wild Fit 7-1
Original Spin 4-1

Wager: $5 WP on Wild Fit.
Collected $16.00 on the WP (xxx, 6.40).
...$2 exacta top two.
Ran 2-3.
...$1 exacta box top four.
Ran 2-3-7-10.
...$1 tri box top four.
Ran 2-3-7-10.

Wild Fit...SoCal invader was an up-close second in G2 Oak Leaf. Went wide into the stretch in that race while eventual winner saved ground on the rail. Trainer Mullins feels he didn't have her cranked up enough -- comes into this with a couple of nice 6F works in the holster.
Original Spin...Undefeated in two starts including a G3 last time. Still has plenty of upside potential. Bailey rides.
Diamond Omi...Won the Oak Leaf over the top pick. Looks to be on the improve.
Adieu.
Longshot - Along the Sea.

Belmont: BC Juvenile G1 $1.5 mil

Stevie Wonderboy 9-2
Henny Hughes 9-1
First Samurai 6-5

Wager: $5 WP on First Samurai.
Ran 3rd.
...$2 exacta top two.
Ran 3-14.
...$1 exacta box top four.
Ran 1-3-9-14.
...$1 tri box top four.
1-3-9-14.

First Samurai...Undefeated and has the G1 Hopeful and G1 Champagne on his resume. Looks like the real deal.
Private Vow...Asmussen (5-0-0-0) can't continue on a Breeders' Cup oh-fer for long. This 2YO put in two nice performances at Saratoga then won off easily in the G2 Futurity over the Belmont strip.
Stevie Wonderboy...His performance in the G2 Del Mar Futurity was eye-popping. Off since that Sept 7 win but Monday work seems to indicate fitness.
Leo.
Longshot - Stream Cat.

Belmont: BC F/M Turf G1 $1 mil

Intercontinental 15-1
Ouija Board 2-1
Film Maker 9-1

Wager: $5 WP on Ouija Board.
Collected $14.75 on the WP (xxx, 5.90).
...$2 exacta top two.
Ran 2-4.
...$1 exacta box top four.
Ran 2-3-4-8.
...$1 tri box top four.
Ran 2-3-4-8.

Ouija Board...Defending champ in this event. Came into the race last year off of a solid third in the Arc. Only two starts this season and was probably overmatched in 2005 debut -- but won a G3 last time and should be set up well for this.
Wonder Again...No wins but has gone well in four starts this year. Loves soft going.
Megahertz...The turf condition is somewhat of a question mark. She ran well on a 'yielding' track in the G1 Bev D. On the other hand, in this race last year at Lone Star she was dull on similar footing. This bunch is tougher than she typically faces in SoCal.
Filmmaker.
Longshot - Luas Line.

Belmont: BC Sprint G1 $1 mil

Silver Train 11-1
Taste of Paradise 12-1
Lion Tamer 12-1

Wager: $5 WP on Lost in the Fog.
Ran 7th at 3-5.
...$2 exacta top two.
Ran 7-11.
...$1 exacta box top four.
Ran 1-3-7-11.
...$1 tri box top four.
Ran 1-3-7-11.

Lost in the Fog...8-8 this year on seven different tracks across the country. Gets his sternest test today but looks legit.
Battle Won...Makes the same turf to dirt move that was successful earlier this year. Note however that he came into that stakes win in last turf-to-dirt move off of a 4/28 turf workout, so scenario this time is a little different.
Silver Train...Showed marked improvement since moving into Dutrow barn. G2 Jerome win is too good to ignore.
Lion Tamer. Longshot.

Belmont: BC Mile G1 $1.5 mil

Artie Schiller 5-1
Leroidesanimaux 6-5
Gorella 13-1

Wager: $5 WP on Leroidesanimaux.
Collected $9.50 on the WP (xxx, 3.80).
...$2 exacta top two.
Ran 2-12[DNF].
...$1 exacta box top four.
Ran 2-3-8-12.
...$1 tri box top four.
Ran 2-3-8-12.

Leroidesanimaux...Eight-race win streak coming into this. Won on a 'yielding' course last time.
Funfair...Has looked good since moving to US. Ran a big race to win G2 Kelso this track and trip last time.
Singletary...Defending champ comes into this race in very similar fashion to the way he came in last year.
Gorella. Longshot.

Belmont: BC Distaff G1 $2 mil

Pleasant Home 30-1
Society Selection 11-1
Ashado 2-1

Wager: $5 WP on Sweet Symphony.
Ran 9th at 7-1.
...$2 exacta top two.
Ran 3-9.
...$1 exacta box top four.
Ran 3-5-9-11.
...$1 tri box top four.
Ran 3-5-9-11.

Sweet Symphony...Could be a classic example of getting overlooked off of one dud. She looked so good in her first four starts that we'll toss the last and look for a rebound.
Ashado...The defending champ and clearly the one to beat.
Happy Ticket...Super La-bred proved she's belong with win in G1 Ballerina and gritty second to Ashado in G1 Beldame.
In the Gold. Longshot.

Belmont: BC Turf G1 $2 mil

Shirocco 8-1
Ace 16-1
Azamour 7-2

Wager: $5 WP on Bago.
Ran 4th at 9-2.
...$2 exacta top two.
Ran 4-12.
...$1 exacta box top four.
Ran 4-7-9-12.
...$1 tri box top four.
Ran 4-7-9-12.

Bago...Disappointed when this guy didn't show up for this race last year after winning the Arc. Comes into the race this year off of another Arc performance -- third, but a good-looking closing third. Shouldn't mind the soft going.
Shakespeare...Undefeated in five starts including a gutsy win last time in the G1 Turf Classic. Dangerous.
Forty Niners Son... Longshot... They're showing 15-1 on the morning line and this guy is coming out of a G1 win! Drysdale trains and the horse hasn't missed the board in seven tries this season.
Better Talk Now.

Belmont: BC Classic G1 $4 mil

Saint Liam 2-1
Flower Alley 10-1
Perfect Drift 14-1

Wager: $5 WP on Borrego.
Ran 10th at 5-2.
...$2 exacta top two.
Ran 1-10.
...$1 exacta box top four.
Ran 1-3-10-13.
...$1 tri box top four.
Ran 1-3-10-13.

Borrego...Finally turned the corner and comes into this off of wins in the G1 Pac Classic and G1 JCGC. That Gold Cup win was very impressive -- though perhaps too impressive to believe, sometimes when a horse blows by a field with such ease it just indicates things have fallen apart a little, but at the very least it certainly showed that Borrego likes the track.
Saint Liam...Comes in off of a big win in the G1 Woodward. Question mark at the trip however.
Perfect Drift...Usually in the hunt.
A Bit O'Gold. Longshot.

Keeneland: Fayette G3 $150K

Alumni Hall 2-1
On Thin Ice 39-1
MB Sea 12-1

Wager: $5 WP on Shaniko.
Ran 9th at 2-1.
...$2 exacta top two.
Ran 4-9.
...$1 exacta box top four.
Ran 1-4-6-9.
...$1 tri box top four.
Ran 1-4-6-9.

Shaniko...Has come into his own as a 4YO -- topped last time by a big-Beyer win in the G2 Ky Cup Classic.
Trapped Again...Going well this year and won a couple of Delaware stakes in last two starts.
Lord of the Game...They considered the BC Classic for this guy but this is a more realistic spot. Eight wins in twelve starts -- he's capable.
Alumni Hall.

Santa Anita/Oak Tree: Morvich Hcp G3 $100K

Geronimo 2-1
King Robyn 5-2
Jungle Prince 17-1

Wager: $5 WP on Geronimo.
Collected $24.00 on the WP (6.40, 3.20).
...$2 exacta top two.
Ran 1-5.
...$1 exacta box top four.
Collected $11.30 on the ex box ($22.60/$2).
...$1 tri box top four.
Ran 1-2-4-5.

Geronimo...Ten wins in thirty-five lifetime starts but only one-for-nine this years. Seems to have a little case of bridesmaid-itis but last seems to indicate he's set for a good try on this downhill course.
Mighty Beau...Flopped in European trip this summer but was going well prior to that. Toss last due to troubled start.
Courageous King...Won his first turf try last time.
King Robyn.

If we are interested in both halves of an entry -- in event of a scratch -- it is noted that way. If only one-half of the entry is named, then we prefer that half and will move to our next pick listed in event of a scratch.
