Otherwise, we scored big in the Happy New Year Stakes at Calder. Our top three boxed for the $340.00/$2 and our fourth pick completed the $1798.60/$2 super. We had a piece of the tri, as well as the $86.00/$2 exacta -- but unfortunately, we don't typically include super's in our mix. Another wager we might have had if we used it -- the all-stakes Pick 4 at Calder. We mentioned all of the winners in that $2687.60/$2 gimmick.

We nibbled the rest of the afternoon. Grabbing the cold exacta in the Tropical Park Oaks ($25.40/$2). And we ran first and third to miss exactas in three races.

Our wagers were cancelled at Fair Grounds and Santa Anita.
