We started the 2004 Saratoga thoroughbred race meet with a mythical bankroll of $1000. Each day we'll use this space to record our mythical best bets and calculate the accumulated wins and losses.

Yesterday...

We're swinging for the fences here in the last few days of the meet. The wagering is still sensible but we've made some plays that could have provided nice scores. Wednesday we hit four in the Pick Six. and Thursday we just missed the superfecta. Our top four horses from the Picks Plays -- our top pick winning -- rounded out the $1619.00/$2 super, and we had them all in the mix here on our plays, just not in the right order. Doh! Still managed to pull some dough from that race though as we also played the triple.

We'll keep chugging through the weekend and hope that one of ours clears the fence in right field...
