We started the 2004 Saratoga thoroughbred race meet with a mythical bankroll of $1000. Each day we'll use this space to record our mythical best bets and calculate the accumulated wins and losses.

Yesterday...

RACE ONE... $4 exacta box... Nicely/Illusionary Magic.
Ran 3-4.

RACE FOUR... $4 WP... Summer Raven.
Collected $6.60 on the WP (xxx, $3.30).

RACE EIGHT... $2 exacta box... Strategy/Essence.
Ran 2-3.

RACE NINE... $1 super... Deputy Squealie/Secret Forest in top two spots over Unshuttered/Glitteration/Holden Champagne in bottom two spots, sub Codrington if a scratch on the bottom. If a scratch on top make the wager a $1 tri box (four-horse box) -- again, subbing Codrington if necessary.

Loss for the day... $ 13.40

RACE ONE... $2 exacta box... Clever Concorde/Lake entry.

RACE 1/2... $2 doubles... R1/Clever Concorde/Lake entry... R2/Pomeranze.

RACE SEVEN... $2 tri key Save the Profit over Shoahlihs Tale (not other part of entry)/Fiddlers Cat/Sicilian Boy, use On Rye if one of the underneath horses scratches.

All turf wagers are turf only
