We started the 2003 Saratoga thoroughbred race meet with a mythical bankroll of $1000. Each day we'll use this space to record our mythical best bets and calculate the accumulated wins and losses.

Yesterday...

We took our biggest swing of the season so far and, with grass racing being conducted on Wednesday, we felt sure that we'd be on the turf for Thursday. But it wasn't to be. And our major plays were scratched when they went off-turf.

Ran... R1/An unlucky 2nd as the tiring frontrunner knocked our pick off her feet at the last jump... R2/2nd-scratch.

RACE SIX... $2 tri key Larger Than Life over Chic Joy/Right Out Ro/Sunup.
If scratch change tri key to $5 exacta key Larger Than Life over remaining two.
