YOU ARE THERE Check out the new YOU ARE THERE feature. We bring you the action, both on-track and off, for the entire Saratoga race meet.
4-9. Not a bad day. Winners in the 1st (4.80), 4th (5.80), 5th (7.10), and 9th (6.20). In the 8th it was our third choice over our second pick for a $21.60/$2 exacta. Our top pick completed the $52.50 tri in that race. The highlight of the day was the nightcap where our top pick won and our next three picks came in underneath to complete the $2028.00 super. It was also the top pick over the third and fourth picks for the $364.00 tri.
On-track, 22,580 attended. A downpour hit about an hour and a half before the first race -- and continued while a large crowd gathered to watch Funny Cide be schooled in the paddock at around noon time. The rain let up by the first race but another brief shower hit just before the feature race.
Today
FIRST RACE
Bonnie's Bag...Will be rolling late.
Iron County Xmas...Solid in four starts this year. Finished behind the top pick last time.
Indispensable...Can improve with move into claimer.
Voss entry.
SECOND RACE
Dogwood entry...My Vengeance from Pletcher/Velasquez will appreciate move down claiming ladder.
Sonn D'Oro...Comes in with a three-race streak. Might rate higher except oh-fer jockey raises concerns.
Roses For Marti...Might add some value to the gimmicks with a clean trip.
Carson's Girl.
On dirt: Pumpkin's Pride, Bachelor's Delight, Editors Shake, Cry Of The Cat, Star Escort, My Vengeance, Lottery Luck.
THIRD RACE
Disrupt...Improving sort from McGaughey looks solid here.
Warm Feelings...Like the positive jock switch.
Jolley entry...Glowing Colors has put in some good tries.
Evening Mist.
FOURTH RACE
Saratoga Episode...(Exclude if this half of entry scratches). Has room to improve off of decent debut despite troubled start.
Delta Ghost...Has poor post -- but Mr Bailey might negate that with an alert break.
Webejamminmon...Two decent tries -- and two poor starts. Should go well with a better getaway.
Calculator.
FIFTH RACE
Dutrow entry...Drawing a Blank has come to hand nicely, winning last two including one over this strip. Fit Performer also has won last two.
Raise Devil...Always in the hunt and might rate higher with a more experienced jock.
Boozin' Susan...Been on a brief vacation so might need one -- but capable on best.
Lifebythedrop.

Sunup.
Trillion Wing.
Run Lucile.
On dirt: Larger Than Life, Right Out Ro, Quiet Julia, Impetuous Fling, Trillion Wing.

Storm On The Lake.
