Yesterday

Dark day. No racing.

Today

We'll try our best to keep the train rolling -- although this card doesn't have anything particularly strong to offer...

FIRST RACE
Ethical actions...Fell last time but appreciated the move to claiming ranks in three prior.
Snuggle...Runs well when able to avoid mishaps.br> Voss entry...Both Devil's Egg and Maxi Tune are in capable hands.
Sheppard entry.

SECOND RACE
Star Celebrity...Pletcher shoots at 23% with firsters and this one has a nice recent work in the holster.
Critical Cat...Barn's not hot with debut runners but this one is a half to G1 winner Critical Eye and is sporting some OK works.
Nurse Culkin...As always -- experience counts in these evetns and this guy is capable to improve off of a debut first effort.
Sage's Five Six.

THIRD RACE
Drawing A Blank...Solid last time in third start off of bench. Bailey sticks and a repeat is possible.
Silver Sonnet...Would probably be top pick but need to see Romans score here first. However, this one makes third start off bench and should go well.
Levine entry...Quppy looks like the stronger half but Hawley Lake has gone well over the track.
Heather Light.

FOURTH RACE
Lissau...Just going with the trainer angle in a wide-open event. Rice is good with debut runners.
Golden Tones...Lukas runner could prove formidable with a start under belt.
Finn Cantwinatgin...Decent try in first start. Can improve.
Coast Line.
Exciting Metro.

FIFTH RACE
Renaissance Lady...Lukas filly has placed in stakes in two prior starts. Should be tough with Bailey onboard.
Stoic...Suspect this one might improve yet again in third start, if so she'll be tough.
Dixie Waltz...Threw in a big one two back -- might have freaked in the mud however. We'll take a chance that he can get back to that effort on a dry track.
Sweet Vision.

SIXTH RACE
Krasnaya...Pletcher filly had good-looking debut. Can boss these with repeat. Must get in from AE list.
Where We Left Off...Closed well in debut despite tardy start. Expect better today.
O'cat...Has put in three nice tries on turf.
Pay The Dancer.
Grizzley Queen.

SEVENTH RACE
Double Scoop...3YO filly has placed in stakes over last two starts. Should go well with return to alw company.
City Sister...Usually in the hunt -- particularly at the trip.
Vibs...Occasionally throws in a big effort.
Saintly Action.

EIGHTH RACE
Golden Sonata...Mott/Bailey filly comes into this off some improving efforts in Kentucky. Expect a nice try today.
Lady Liberty...McGuaghey runner seldom misses a check and has shown a liking to the surface.
Call An Audible...Another filly that typically goes well.
Passing Shot.

NINTH RACE
Special Allure...Trainer's going well so far this meet and filly should appreciate move into claimers.
Carson's Girl...Turf debut showed some promise.
Classy Commander...Beyers are a little light so far -- but against this field that's not a hinderance. And sneaking suspicion this one is going to improve anyhow.
Roses For Marti.
Strike Point.
