We started the 2003 Saratoga thoroughbred race meet with a mythical bankroll of $1000. Each day we'll use this space to record our mythical best bets and calculate the accumulated wins and losses.

Yesterday...

Started the day with a bang, grabbing the early double cold for a decent hit. But then hit the wall and just couldn't cash another one -- so we ended the day with a small loss.

On the other hand, we still in the plus column after Week One.

RACE 1/2... $5 double... R1Golden Commander... R2/Tudor Court.
Collected $76.50 on the DD ($30.60/$2).

RACE TWO...$5 quinella Tudor Court/Lake entry.
Ran 1-4.

RACE FOUR...$20 WP ... Sapodilla.
Ran 3rd at 3-2.

RACE SEVEN...$2 exacta box... Spotted Owl/Dawn Of The Condor/Full Flow.
Ran 3-5-6.

...Also, $1 tri box... Spotted Owl/Dawn Of The Condor/Full Flow/Quiet Ruler.
Ran 2-3-5-6.

Total loss for the day...$9.50

Today

Truthfully, today is being spent on the beach in Maine. A battery-recharger before heading back to the track Wednesday.
